I paid for the founder's program access to the Vide Game Machine I understand games and programs do get cancelled. However, the people who do pay for the program should be informed of the status in one form or another. There has not been a status update post since January 2022. I have asked in the dedicated forums with no reply so maybe here I can get an answer for all of us who paid for founder's program access. What is the status on this game/

Any news or updates? We are approaching the mid-point of 2022. I am starting to think 2023 may have been more realistic time frame. If your coding or waiting for 22h2 release then yeah its more realistic.
Any news since this post or has the project died on the vine?
Microsoft has moved to a one time a year public release build now. There will be no more 2XH1 release going forth. You should be coding on the 21H2 release now for users. Coding for the dev or preview channels for new GUI features in 22H2 in anticipation of its release could be going down a rabbit hole as they could change anything on a whim. The next official public release of Windows will not be till last quarter this year if you're waiting for that then you might as well
I think 2023 may well be a typo.
So how about a ball park time then? I know things change with software though and I for one wont hold you to the date.
Oh that bites. No skinning of windows till 2022 - 2023.
Oh snapo just saw that. Curtains is DOA as well.... damn. No skinning for Windows 11 till 2023....
As of now only 2 programs are "compatible" with Windows 11 as they are in Beta. Is there a development plan to bring these other Object Desktop apps inline with Windows 11? I use about 7 Object Desktop apps myself. I like many others have been using Stardock for many years. I understand that it takes some time to develop. Any information would be appreciated.
Any updates? I see Frogboy has posted about WindowsBlinds 11 Planning and that is a long involved thread. He even mentioned how they released Curtains earlier this year and how it works. I love WindowsBlinds myself but stopped using it because of incompatibilities with Windows latest releases. I went with Curtains because it skins what I wanted skinned. Is there a development plan for a Curtains update you can share?
With Windows 11 releasing in 3 weeks. I am hoping you have been playing and coding with the preview versions. Are you going to have a beta ready on release day for Windows 11 or sooner? I know Windows Blinds is pretty much DOA for Windows 11 but I am looking forward to curtains being released ASAP.
Quick update. When I closed the tab i had open making the previous post. The tab I was using for screenshots I noticed had something in the shopping cart. I saw Start11 for 3.99 so I purchased 7 upgrade licenses. While it did add it to my cart and I was able to purchse there is some confusion still on what it displayed when you press get it now. Thanks for getting it fixed enough to purchase the software. Looking forward to Curtains compatible with Wi
Actually did you press get it now? It doesn't give me an option to upgrade my Start10 Licenses to Start11 for what I am guessing would be 2.99 a seat as the previous upgrade from 8 to 10 was. It gives me an option to upgrade my object desktop another year for 19.99. While that is a great price I have already paid for my subscription to be active for Object desktop and WinCustomize until 2025. I took a screenshot below of the issue. <img src
2 questions Did Alpha 2 get released yet? How do I get the founders badge for my forum account for this product? I see other posters have it. I bought the founders edition a couple years back.
@basj There is an upgrade pricing options but it appears to be broken. If you type in your email address it does not see you have stand alone seats if you have an Object Desktop license. If it does not work properly as they are aware of in this other thread I found on the forums then they should remove the link from the website till it is resolved. <img src="https://cdn.stardock.us/forums/7/23/723065/dde54e19-0cce-4056-aa44-594fc9c4f39a.png" alt="upgrade hype
I have 7 start 10 stand alone licenses I purchased for my families computers and my parents computers. When I try to inquire about update pricing on the website it tells me it comes with my Object Desktop license. I would like to get 7 Start 11 Licenses so that all my machines are ready when Windows 11 releases. I will also need a Curtains 11 upgrade license as well when it releases if there is upgrade pricing for it since I purchased another license for that stand alone as
I am trying to purchase Adni18's Christmas Master theme and when i place it in the cart and go to checkout I see the following message. Sorry, the coupon you entered is either invalid or has expired. Please try again. The 20% discount is not being applied for being a subscriber. Thanks in advance for looking into this.
Aren't there laws against modifying antiquities? [e digicons]:bebi:[/e] Sorry couldn't resist.
Yeah probably right. That's what I get for posting after a few Christmas egg nog's (traditional), after his little teaser was hoping for some good news And I couldn't post in the other thread so figured it was locked.
Neil Any updates to this post? https://forums.stardock.com/470094/page/6/#131 Not holding you or Stardock's feet to the fire on this. I understand programming and development time. Just looking for a tidbit of info to sate my appetite for WB skinning goodness.
The insider release of Window's 10 from 2014 is a different build then what was released in August of this year. The way Windows Blinds integrates into the Windows Shell is pretty intricate. They could not build on this till the RTM was released to the public in August of this year. Refer to my previous analogy in Post 59 of this thread as to why they had to wait for the Gold RTM to build on.

As stated by Stardock Developers. When it's ready. This has not been too long. When WB8 was released it was 4-6 months after Windows 8 came out. So relax and wait.
Do not buy it yet. It is not compatible with Windows 10.
Simple answer... When it's ready.
485 people have died holding their breath for over two months waiting for news of Windowbinds 10. More carnage expected.. Full story at 11..
if I remember correctly it was between 4&6 months after Windows 8 was released when Windowsblind 8 went public beta. May want to grab an oxygen tank. It may be a while still.
