Ahh...Syntek Bliss. The WB and OB are from DanilloOC's Syntek (ya gotta love OB2's WB import feature!), the icons are Mormegil's supreme Utopia Brush icon back, and the CursorXP is Chet's Pliant resized down a bit. The widgets in the bar are Tiggz's K-Clock aero and c242's Orion System stats cut down a bit. <A HREF="http://images2.stardock.com/7/26/726288/Desk

A word of advice....don't push it. I wouldn't try to even take a chance with your luck here. It's best to try to be defensive especially since you have a lot more to lose than gain from arguing about it.
Already 40% done! Thanks Sir Koop!
Once IP is installed, it's quite simple to change individual icons. All you have to do is right click on the thing you want to change, choose Properties on the right click menu, and go to the Customize tab. There's a button here to change the icon of the shortcut or the folder, and you just simply browse to the icon. Some folders or special areas on your computer also have an "Icon" tab to change the icon associated with it.
This isn't the best place to ask for advice concerning hacking your to change its visual style...Sorry...I'd try asking for help on Neowin or the sites that are associated with hacking (i won't name any names ). Or...try WindowBlinds. http://www.windowblinds.net I guarantee that our skins will work. <img src="http://images.stardock.com/wc/smiles/BigSmile.gif" border=0
Wow, and I just posted about OD+. Excuse me. You should be able to lock down the coordinates of the object to the other monitor, but I'm not sure about when playing games and such, because that would change the overall resolution.
To answer number 1 (copied from the other post:) Yes, you need to be an ObjectDesktop subscriber to have access to the beta for ObjectBar2. Currently, there's no free version out for OB2 yet, so you'll have to wait. If you're interested, then please check out Stardock' ODNT page at: http://www.objectdesktop.com/ As for the wallpaper, you need to have this option checked in the WB Configuration Screen: <img src="http://s02.imagehost.org/1

ok, let me say something. There will be NO idol worship on WC! (This is exactly what other sites accuse of us, btw) Anywho to IMGOD: First of all, let's take a look at your cursors. Maybe the skinners around here can offer some advice. I'm trying to be as positive as possible, and I'm sure others are as well. So please try to recognize the fact that we're here to HELP, not HURT your skinning experience. (If you choose to ignore the comments,
Aww, and I'm missing all the fun! I may not be on until tomorrow.
You can definitely emulate the Mac Taskbar with ObjectBar. However, Windows has a different way of using menus than Macs do, and it's not really possible for that to happen right now. To my knowledge, putting the menu bars of programs literally INTO ObjectBar would be quite difficult to do. However, you could add in the bars your self, make a script that does a certain function in Photoshop (Let's say Ctrl + Shift + N for a New Layer) and throw that
Allow me to offer another way... There's a little program called HoverSnap! which is for free by the same guys that made HoverDesk. This little guy has been featured on the Screen Savers (that's how I found it!) and it's functionality is unparalleled. It can take screenshots, but it automatically converts them into .JPGs or a few other file format for you and then places the pictures in a directory of your choice. Also included is an FTP di
Well, there is a guestbook in the "About" section, but it would be nice
Ah yes. I'll fill in the rest... The blue bar on the far right is ObjectBar. The new docking features that you see there are only available through the OB2 beta which is out for ObjectDesktop subscribers. It has a few DesktopX widgets right in the bar...the Dictionary Search, the clock, and the processor stats are all by Martin I believe are all included with DesktopX when installed. The stock market widget is Tandis' Stock Reader (
Dev C++ is one free C++ program that isn't bad at all from Bloodshed.net. When I used it is never really found errors right, but it does work. http://bloodshed.net/ My suggestion is to pick up a nice VB or C++ book first with a CD, as that could bring you through the learning process as well as show you the code on the CD (which usually has a compiler). <img src="http://images.stardock.com/wc/smiles/Congrats.gif" border=0 ALIGN="absmiddle"
IMHO, the Screen Saver really completes the look. I don't think anyone stands around to watch it for entertainment in the same right as BootSkins, etc. Now to my knowledge, EVERY Screen Saver is going to be tested by the mods before put out to make sure the .exe doesn't include that kind of stuff.

Suites are a compliation of skins from many programs that could include DesktopX, WindowBlinds, IconPackager, ObjectDock, and many of the other programs that Stardock offers. It is a whole set of skins that can be applied at once in a much easier and faster way than putting together a theme part by part. DesktopX Themes are usually desktop replacements that can change your taskbar and add much more functionality to your desktop. However, you
They offer a gig of free space. This by far is enough to try it out. I've been using GMail for a few months now, and I have to say it's definitely the easiest to use and definitely the best webmail out there. Some other great features: Labeling
I think that yall should add a Trillian 3.0 Skin section that is a really needed section cause they are so hard to find!!!!!! Well, this could simply be because there are NONE yet! Anywho, I'm very happy wit
That's a morale booster, if anything! Well, I feel that I've gotten my money's worth...I hope you'll attain your skinning nirvana soon as well (even though you may be in debt up to your eyeballs by then! ) <img src="http://images.stardock.com/wc/smiles/Laugh.gif" border=0 ALIGN="
I smell a bit of irony...some people try to customize their computers to look like a dungeon!
Sharp meaning the graphics? The only changed aspect here is the monitor, so maybe the monitor is a bit screwy. Upload a screenshot at ImageShack and show us! http://www.imageshack.us/index.php
IMGOD, JUST A NOTICE: NO ONE CAN HEAR YOU SCREAM ON THE INTERNET!
Here's the deal. When you click "Open with wbload" with Firefox, WindowBlinds recognizes it and loads it up in its directories. However, the WB Configuration Screen doesn't open automatically. For me at least, the skin I downloaded and opened appears in the list along with the others patiently waiting for me to apply it.
