How about a IE tutorial instead as so many of us use IE? I think Corky's taking care of that, but I'm sure I could whip up something... Also I'm working on an avatar...holding down two jobs is cutting down on my skinning time but both are ending quite soon so I should be fine <img src="http://images.stardock.com/wc/smiles/Smile.gif" border=0 ALIGN=

'cuse me while I whip this out...*AHHH!* [/Blazing Saddles] Yes folks, I'm the new moderator of the Internet forum. What's in store? A lot of new conversation topics and some definite fun ones as well. I'm going to have some tutorials in the works so WinCustomize users can learn how to get more out of their site and their subscriptions...I think a Firefox tutorial will be in store first, for beginners and powerusers who want to beef up and trick out their browser. If you ever see any in

Well there's one in the queue now... ...but on a more serious note, the new skins have been much slower. The massive time it takes to develop a WB fully might be one explanation for this...it's no simple task to produce a high-quality skin

I'll have to agree with Sleeping Dragon's viewpoint. I of course support Jark since it seems right now that a giant conspiracy/coup threw him out of his position so the company could make more money. A lot of people are asking...what now? Most are saying BOYCOTT, others are yelling BRING BACK THE COMMUNITY, and most members have posted at least something so they can contribute to the cause. The community seems to be united under Jark's banner, so the

I don't see anything wrong with it especially when Blizzard has much bigger problems with moderation to worry about. Anywho! I use MP to switch between my WoW game on my laptop and a desktop that usually has the Stardock IRC up and Thottbot so I can figure out where stuff is. Makes things a lot easier.

Some interesting thoughts here, Brad...I like the idea of a tithe, but the problem is that people might not join guilds in the first place if their leader is going to keep all of the funds. What really needs to be set up is a Guild Bank Account. The Leader can then authorize withdrawals from it, and also items, etc, that need to be stored can be accessed by all members. Perhaps permissions that would bar certain level of guild members from accessing

Brad, take a load off. The competition, especially in the skinning realm, shouldn't be worrying you as much as it is now. Believe it or not, Stardock will be riding the crest of this little niche's wave for quite a while, no matter what a few neoweenies or anyone else has to say about it. I'm just glad I can contribute somewhat to it. And I'll have to remember that little piece of advic

Let's see...over a year ago I started to get sick of the silver and blue look of Windows (we all know that Luna olive is just unbearable too ) So, I started looking around for first, wallpapers. I ran into Spoono.com, which I think was in v3 last year before they separated their downloads section. I quickly gobbled up some of the gems there. I was checking out the link

Well, just a bit of history, the Polynesian was one of the originial four hotels open when WDW opened in 1971. (maybe it was 75, but I know it was one of the originals) That might be why it's not that updated yet. I've stayed in Fort Wilderness, Port Orleans, Coronado Springs, and the Beach Club. The Beach club was REALLLY nice and so was Coronado Springs. As to the connected-ness of the resorts to the parks, I feel that the monorail is a nice touc

This happens with Firefox if it does not like a skin. In order to correct this I usually end up switching to a different skin for FF. I think the cause of this is that the skin was made for an earlier version of Firefox but you have a more updated one that doesn't like it.

Spore sounds awesome! After reading the linked article, I guess Wright seems like the Darwin of video games! I can't wait for that one to come out. Also, I like his online idea for Spore . The universe is populated with other players' worlds, etc...what if that could happen for GalCiv? You wouldn't just be playing on a galactic scale there, it would truly be universal. Imagine zooming farther out of the actual grid and seeing
