By the way, just read about Sen. Bachmann's It is a silly, dump, stupid mistake ever can be made. *facepalm.
But why? All she wants is an indepth investigation of member of Congress on whether or not they are "real" Americans. Get a list of the names of those that are un-american and then we will know who they are and what their activities are. IG

So, let me see, according to a senior McCain advisor we now have a "real" Virgina and another one. Should it be Unreal Virgina? Imaginary Virginia? or so we take Gov. Palin's and Sen. Bachmann's idea and make it Anti-America Virginia. Geographers an dGoogle Maps need to know! IG
You have made the classic mistake of filling in facts to suit your arguement, no such "facts were presented.
You stated he killed a man... generally that is a crime, unless there are other factors at play.
Obviously you skipped the part where I said he served 1o years in prison.
That was not part of the original post and no I did not see it... can yo uput the quesiton again but with anything you added after the fact? &nbs

We need more information then.. as how can you have respect for G-d's law when you violate it (if he did) and have no remorse.. even if justified, the good mman would feel some pity or regret of action. Even the death of a vile man, shold evoke some sort of pity, itf not for the man for his family.

True, but even if cop shoots someone there is an investigation and the coip, while not arrested is under some suspicion until the investigation is taken place. Without an investigation, juistified or not the assault onthe man alone is a crime.

He killed a man. That is a crime and in general a no-no in certain faiths. Whether he was justified in the act is a matter for the courts. And until that is determined he is a criminal. IG
So the fact that he has instilled respect for the law both G-ds and mans law in his children and has lived a life of no crime in any way for forty years in your eyes he is still a criminal?
The fact he commited a crime, escaped justice and has shown no remorse nor asked his G-d for fogiveness makes him a criminal.
Obviously this is a personal question asked of the person that comments, one can only speak for ones self after all.
OK, then, while he may be a good man in the eyes of many and me, nevertheless, he is in fact a criminal and 40 years of good living will not change that fact. IG

Your question is incomplete.... considered a good man to whom. If you refer to those who have been his neighbors for 40 years and do not know what he did, then they would consider him a good man. If you refer to the family of the man he killed, then no. If you refer to the police, then whle he may be a good man, he is still a criminal. Most criminals are good men, who made the wrong choice.... of coulse some are just twisted and scum. If you

So before you would let a criminal get water boarded you would let a loved one die. nōn sequitur.. Your situation does not imply death... Also, the guilt of the kidnapper is confirmed and the danger is reat. The involvement in the tortured "enemy combatant in the anticipated attack is not. IG

why we are still in Iraq? That's an interesting question... why are we still in Iraq? If we, after more than 5 years still do not control it? IG

I am not saying that he does not need a modicum of protection both here and abroad. What i am saying is that the President in going into Iraq, a nation we supposedly control, in the way he went in is basically saying that the enemy in Iraq is so inventive and so coordinated that they can launch an attack on a major world figure with so little notice that we cannot even notify the country leaders that we are coming until we are in their airspace. The Secret Service is his bullet proof vest and his second and third pairs of eyes. And yes, a leader, while showing emotion at least as to have the appearance of command at all times. IG

Did it ever occur to you that maybe Bush wanted to show for himself that things are not as bad as the Democrats want us to believe by going himself as a surprise? For me, to prove that things are going well, and that we are in control of the situation would be if he made it as if it was a normal visit. Here I am we are not afraid. We are in control of the situation. Type of deal. IG

It seems odd to me, that since the war in Iraq is going so well, that in order for the President to visit Iraq, a country we control, the visit has to be a surprise and that the leaders of the country he is visiting, did not know about it until her was in their airspace. IG

Galaxy... interesting.. but for the analogy i would stick with the solar system. That is destined to die, once the sun goes full-bore. Also: But you'll still die. And your death, like your life, measured against the life and death of the universe, is meaningless. Which is why we limit parameters as to what our life is measured against. We understand in the grand scheme it is pointless, which is why we reduce the area of measurements until it does. The reason peo

And even supposing your fantasy of escape to the stars were true, do you not realise that one day there will be no more stars, no new planets to constantly populate, because the universe itself is mortal and will die. Our planet will "die" or possible evolve due to some spacial event evolve.... The sun by its nature will die. But in order for the universe to die, it will have ot stop creating stars... and even if it can do that, who's

True, but at some point of the doing of the futile act, some sense of a negative or non-outcome has to be realized or all there will be is stagnation. IG
