GC2:TA would be my first recommendation. But I was very impressed with The Witcher, I really enjoyed it, but don't buy it just yet as they are releasing a version 2, within the next month or two, that addresses a lot of the originally issues and adds a few more quests and areas (even adding more face models which was my biggest bugbear of the game). Highly recommended.

Hello, I can't finish my current game! I've destroyed all races inc minors and the game won't bring up the end game cinematics or the post game stats, it's just me on my own with nothing to blow up! It's a gigantic map so I would like to finish it so I can post my scores. Help Thanks

Hello, I updated my Serial number as the recent e-mail asked and now when I try to post a score on the Metaverse it gives me an error number (12) "serial number does not match that on the metaverse server." Any idea? Thanks
I had a game where the Vegans kept appearing I ended up with 4 Vegans too (although they were all too weak from lack of protein to be of any problem)
I really like the random Mega events, they can really change the dynamic of the game which keeps it fresh. Anyway as for your pirate problem at least it's a galaxy wide problem, meaning that all the other races are having the same problem, the best thing I found is to build up your techs untill you can compete against the pirates, (tech trading with the minor races is a good idea - I've found that the minor races will give a lot of techs for the advanced colonisation techs, which is odd
I liked the fact that the star system names were cheese related, although the only two I can remember are Smorgasboard and Philadelphia

Hi Guys, DA keeps crashing intermittently, it freezes then restarts my pc. Sometimes it won't do it for hours other times I won't be able to play for more than 10 minutes without it happening, there doesn't seem to be any rhyme nor reason to it. Works out at about £15 quid for just the download version or £20 for the download and boxed version. I used Paypal and it went thru in a matter of seconds
