I can't do the sodding quest where you're in a submarine and you have to retreive something from the ocean floor (I can't even Remember what it is i'm supposed to be retreiving!!), i've encountered this quest on several planets and have come to the conclusion that it's impossible!! I'll just go back to digging my way out of my prison cell with a spoon then!

When I bought my copy a few months back it came with Space rangers 1 on the disc as well, i'm assuming that this is the case with the downloadable version. Space Rangers 2 is a great game, it kept me amused for ages, it's got everything from RTS sections which you fight with robots, text based adventure bits and non-linear space trading, bounty hunting, piraty bits in space. I can't recommend it highly enough. Now I feel guilty for playing other games behind

I like the idea of a ship pack but it would have to contain enough stuff to justify charging for it. I have the same problem, sound effects and event music are there but no in game music. It used to work when i first got the game but only lasted a few hours before it disapeared for good! :sniff!: Any ideas anyone?

A good mindset for the most part of this game is the old saying "Walk softly but carry a big stick", if you start throwing your weight around too soon the AI will react to that in a bad way, but always be prepared to defend yourself you never know when a random event will plunge u into war no matter how humble you have been! Exploit the minor civs, thats what they are there for! I also like to do the majority of my trading with the minor civs, this way i'm not aiding the economy of a ra

A query about espionage. in Galactic Civilizations I Stardock Forums

Hiya, I'm not 100% sure of the whole espionage aspect the game: Do i still need to keep spending money on espionage after i have reached the advanced report? How do i know if i'm spending enough on destabalisation to actually make an impact? Is there anyway to be forwarned of events like the fundamentalist takeover by spending money on propaganda? Any advice will be much appreciated. Thanks

I am missing a game i sent on the 11th Jan, like above i am not running anything unusual the only difference between this game and a game i submitted earlier on in the week was that i had upgraded from 1.12 to 1.13, Any ideas?

I had the Dregin, the yor and the Torian all allied against me, I managed to get a peace treaty with the Yor & Drengin easily enough but the Torians were only interested in anhilating me, so in a desperate attempt to buy peace i offered them 5000 BC plus a few techs, unfortunatly i forgot to actually ask for the peace treaty and ended up giving a civ that was hell bent on destroying me a nice cash and tech gift!!! :sniff!:
