My brother in law, during bootcamp, got weekend passes off base. One of several things might have happened: 1. You missunderstood what you brother was saying. 2. He joined before I joined in 1994. 3. He joined after the most recent airman in our office joined about 1 year ago. 4. Yo

Wow, I missed a lot of love here in this thread! Anyway, what was that comment about the Air Force getting weekends off during basic? That doesn't happen... I'll admit that the Air Force basic is the easiest, but it's not quite THAT silly.
I think so...
I failed
Up till this year the AF's PT test was just a bike test while having your heart rate and such measured. It was quite silly... Now it's a combination of a of points gained during a 1.5 mile run, push-ups, sit-ups, and your waist measurement. Air Force folks are now required to do PT three times a week, and all sorts of stuff. It's a lot more "military-like" now
but we see it all the time on shows like SNL and MadTV and Comedy Central, and its usually against blacks, asians This is completely incorrect. My television hangs out on a select few channels, and one of those is Comedy Central. I obviously end up watching a ton of stand-ups. I even watch some of th
I disagree... What's great about having more answers, is that it provide more questions that we need to find answers to. "The more I learn, the more I realize I don't know" I don't think we have to worry about running out things that we don't know anytime soon.
1/ fell in love ? I had thought I had been in love before, but when I met my wife, that all got thrown out the window. I was at the dorms (what the Air Force calls it's barracks ), sitting down on the patio getting drunk with some fellow soldier types. Someone mentioned a new girl living in the dorms, so I head on up to her room to talk her into coming down and drinking with us. She
Q#1 -- If you could enter any film (or films) which would it be and why? Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure. That was on TV the other day, and what a great future they looked to have. All their phisophical beliefs were gathered around two non-talented guitarists. The could travel through time, so you would be open to seeing any other part of history you were interested in. Q#2 -- If you could bring any character back from a
Yeah, and even fancy new interfaces are available for telneting into these muds that make it a lot easier to get around I think ZMud is the application I used last to get into my old MUD. It generates maps and such, and stores directions to places for you... for example instead of having to remember that to get to The Woods Of Doom was n,n,n,n,n,n,n,n,e,e,e,e,e,e,s,s,s,s,w, you

Well, I'm at work right now, so I won't be hopping in there
Wait... I think it was Bon Jovi...
I played Ancient Anguish for a good long while. It's another MUD I still log in a play every once and awhile if I'm really bored. Normally I can't even remember the names/passwords of my characters, so I end up playing a new character for a bit ... which MUD did you play?
I'm almost Colin Powell, 19
.... and since women never REALLY know what they want, the results will be a little skewed Most women say they want a funny, sensitive, blah blah blah... and end up with a rude jerk who beats them.
This game is sooo funny!! Link
I really like this Friday Five thingy... I might try to do a Tuesday Two thing or something next week. I'd REALLY like to do one right now, but if I did it on another day, our dreaming and such could be a little more spread out during the week. Oh... how about a Monday Million? Maybe a litlle too much typing there...
To escape predators, rockhopper penguins are natural high jumpers. They can jump 0.9 to 1.2 m (3-4 ft.) out of the water onto the rocks and ice of the Antarctic shoreline. Not quite 6 feet, but close! I just couldn't believe that a penguin could jump 6 feet in the air with those little feet <img src=".
Okay, so it's Friday finally. There's about half a day of work left. All I can think about is playing DAoC's (Dark Age of Camelot, it's a Massively Multiplayer Online Roleplaying Game) newest expansion, New Frontiers. Before I can explain what New Frontiers is, I must first explain what DAoC is all about. In some ways, it's just like every other MMORPG o
You can have her read you a bedtime story every night Heck, I want a bedtime story too!

1/ where do you live ? I live in the suburb in a large city. This large city happens to be full of nice people though, crime-free, and the "traffic problem" has been fixed. Just a few miles in any direction are brooks, streams, and all the wilderness you could ever want. Oh, and the local airport has discovered instant travel, so that we're free to explore any other part of the world we want <img src="../images/smiles/smile.gif" border=0 ALIGN
