You should be aware, however, that choosing to disable flash and cookies will limit the functionality of all of the stardock websites. The forums rely on cookies and require flash to update your account images.
That's a darn shame. I have wincustomize as an exception on IE6 preferences but don't find the same abilities on Safari. Why are you dropping support, pray tell?
FF; unable to control third party cookies. How do you mean? Firefox has an option to refuse all third-party cookies right alongside the other cookie options.
that observation was made when I quit using the program which is about the same time thunderbird quit sending out my email. been a couple years at least. sounds like there have been some improvements?
https://forums.wincustomize.com/What is not rendering correctly. Some functions may not work as well in IE6 but it should still work for a bit.
I'd post a picture of this but I'm limited in ability so it seems, (ctrl-V) doesn't work and I haven't had much success with the url posting thing. A picture has been already posted on this forum. it shows the navigation buttons at the top to be repeated across the page. six hi
What site/page are you specifically having trouble with?
https://forums.wincustomize.com/ this is troubling as I would just rather drop a site that doesn't support IE6 or makes one use flash or one that makes you accept cookies. I come here almost daily, I support and contribute. I don't think I'll drop the site but I don't appreciate being told that I have to update to continue to participate. [e digicons]>:([/

Even though I sent an email to support, I had to find out by off posting that stardock is no longer supporting IE6. IMHO, IE6 is the most stable, user controlled browser yet. Why, oh why, would you not support it??? I use IE6 for all of my serious browsing and Safari for my fluff browsing (youtube, tmz and other sites) where I wish to view flash content. IE7; used it and uninstalled it as it continuously cras

Okay, I'm impressed by all of the routing data, interesting to know you can do this, are we using a specific program to accomplish these traces?
Wimpy, I know that when PP frames first became part of WB that Neil Banfield (lead developer of WB ) said this is how they work and that it would most likely never change.
well then, just to keep the books straight, a karma for you. thanks and I guess, 'nuff said ;p (:( X-(
The point of maximizing a window is to show maximum windows content,
well, when said like that I guess this reverts to a "yo duh" perspective. Still it would be nice to have the option somehow.

I understand that you all are telling me that that is the way that it works. but a choice of using per pixel or not using it to overcome what one is attempting to do is not the answer. is it possible to code in pixel width/height for the frames to show when the window is maximized. if it can be done then why not make the effort. has there been an attempt to make this happen. I mean c'mon, do you both know for a fact that it can't be done. I have worked around "things" in SS only to find
Not a glitch, this is the way per pixel frames work.
okay, not a glitch, how about something that occurs that would be nice if it could be fixed. can it be fixed?

when I make a frame, I make the whole frame. when a frame is maximized we lose the left/right/bottom portions. I heard that it is a glitch. is SD aware of this, can it be coded into WB to add frame size when maximized and/or can anything even be done???

when my windows are maximized the left/right/bottom frames are not visible. is there someway to force the painting of the images so that the whole window shows? ss6 - wb6 - xp

I really don't know what the issues actually are however I don't think it is the images themselves. I've attempting open these images from other blinds and have the

Shelby, do you mean to increase the thingamabob with the whatchamacallit to make it a whomever? :) I think I understand what you're implying. It's like (with SS5), the logoff image is 256 colors. To overcome this I made and saved an image with the same file name in another directory and then moved it to the WB folder and had it overwrite the original thereby increasing the color count. I've asked Goldwing about this also but please continue to weigh in on this, I do want to un

I am but a lowly citizen and novice skinner but you know I am trying to do my best to make skins that I think look good. How can I do this when WB6, or it could be SS6 or the interaction between these and XP won’t function as desired. Minimized window image is a good example. Transparency won’t work, it doesn’t matter if it is magic pink or a png/tga file, anything set for transparency comes out black. This image has to be a rectangle. I’m starting to p
