another early bird?
are you using per pixel frames? If you are, there is no way to get rid of the default classic mdibuttons.
ah, and that raises a couple of questions. so, if I set my per pixel frames and buttons to "none" then I will override the default settings and then I can skin the rebar and mdibuttons, of say excel? Is this also impacted by other perpixel graphics (logoffdialog/shutdowndialog, etc). and, I'm wondering what
I just use the glyphs...entails a lot of magic pink, but at least I don't have to look at square buttons.
and I'm coming from the other side and not using the glyphs at all. So, I figured that if I use black as the rebar color that that might work, unfortunatly not all programs will let one skin the rebar so, back to the drawing board.
bummer, thanks
is there any way to make the mdibuttons a tga file that actually works or are we limited to a square bmp image??? xp, ss6, wb6 W-
When it is finished then create a sub-style and it will be identical to the main skin with painting margins in place.
great, I seem to like doing things the hard way, this sounds a lot easier. thanks
Which version of sks are you using? And which graphics program?
oops, sorry. XP. SS6 with paint shop pro 7
I'm working on a blind and have decided to include substyles. Do I really have to go through each substyle to attach the proper graphic and change painting margins for each substyle. I looks like if the format is the same and the name doesn't change then all I need to change are the painting margins, but converting bmp to png appears to require importing the graphic for each substyle? is there an easier way to address graphics that are common to all substyles???
I think we all know that something will be done to bailout the sub-prime mortage loans losses but I am glad to see that both sides is fence have qualms about passing the bill that was presented. The American people are 90 to 1 against the bailout (surprise?) on general terms. This will be tough one for those that pass the bill and will be seeking re-election with those kind of numbers.
Lantec, great humor, my wife and I enjoyed it immensely.
For anyone intereseted in the facts of the 1999 Banking act go here:
Sen. Phil Gramm, isn't he the guy that just recently called us a bunch of whiners because of our financial woes. I think he also had something to do with Prop. 13 in California. I think he is a jerky kind of guy (sort of like Stark) but has been a long proponent of less taxation.
I read the executive summary and didn't see a thing in there directing any banks to lower their lending stand
I respect your view wimpy - It's just very, very left.
<span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: Verdana; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; mso-bidi-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; mso-ansi-langu
I was also thinking along the line of who took us off of the gold standard, who took us off the silver standard, who took the cost of housing out of the cost of living index, who bailed out the S&L and freddie and fannie and now... It's hard to understand how 51% of the people can support a party that only works for the upper 11%. I also agree that it takes time for situations to resolve but the mortage industry problems have long been talked about with nothing being done
dang, and I'm still attempting to go through all of the features that SS6 has. just curious, is this a beta version???
want me to list other deragotory terms she's used?
nope, thanks, already heard them more than enough. I guess I was kind of hoping that the tone would die down but I guess that might be hoping for to much???
That says far more about him than it does me. What was your point again?
gag, argh, damn. I have to agree with lil-whip on this one. the use of any racist term by anyone shows disrespect. Just because a black person uses the term doesn't make it acceptable. If it was acceptable then anyone could use it, right???
Treasury Secretary Henry Paulson and Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke told lawmakers they need to act swiftly to to preserve the health of the U.S. economy. tweedle dee and tweedle dumb running around congress with their pants on fire yelling, "the sky is falling, the sky is falling". the US economy is in the toilet, Why in the world would we want to preserve or encourage this insanity. We used to tar and feat
and what makes you think i was referring to you? if you think you are part of the group i was referring to, if the shoe fits .............
just when I thought the fire was going out a wizop throws gasoline onto it. I missed the HNIC comment, was it deleted? However, if she was referring to the current administration then "numbnuts" would be the appropriate connotation.[e digicons]:-"[/e]
little-whip, you know, you are welcome here. While I might disagree with content, I now understand that your discussions are based on personal experience. I had always felt that your posts were well thought out and when I could cut through the "other" stuff, does provide food for thought. thank you for sharing your personal experience, it allows me to better understand what your're so pissed about. I bumped that other one up to the mods cause I thought you were just troll
Darn, I just responded to your "I'm back" post not realizing all of the picture. We love you for who you are and regardless of the changes in one's life, you'll still be who you are. good luck, please keep us posted.
Welcome back Kitty, I read between the lines in your last blind (Mysteria) post with some concern/wonder. Thanks for sharing, I look forward to your future posts. and remember grasshopper....
What site are you on? Each site has such a forum.
I think the original question was regarding a "status page" that provides information on site issues, problems and the such in a one stop shopping page. This page could be linked to the specific forum where "whatever" is addressed. It would not only provide information to us users but you wizops as well. I think everyone is in agreement that there are a lot of threads in the forums but not all of them are
I can get IE7 to sometimes work to rate skins but, it means flusing 100% of everything from the browser. This requires fresh logins and for quite awhile Google ads to show up. I do not know of any action I can take to block the Google ads.
I don't know anything about rating skins but I don't think I have any google ads so it is possible that my security settings prevent them from occuring. I block first and third party cookies and list wincustomize.com as an exception.
I'll continue to be as provocative, as arrogant, and as antagonistic as my rotten little heart desires
I've always been a sort of out there person so just to let you know, I've passed this up to the mods. I hope others take the hint and do so also.
I noted though that Adobe uses '0's' in other software.
I think adobe bought out macromedia some time ago and probably left everything in place as it was. Even though I try to avoid its use, I don't think their system was broke so, why fix it. WOW, now that's a novel idea, if it ain't broke, don't fix it. like my grandmother use to say, "just cause you can, doesn't mean that you should".
wimpy's: 'sorry andrew, that's just not accurate.' - It seems to me he is failing to say *why* your 'it's a browser problem' conclusion is not accurate. He may have a point but I do not see it explained and I would think A's reaction is therefore legitimate.
WC has undergone recent changes (the forums identify specific "other" issues encountered) that appear to have impacted the user experience. These changes could effect how your browser and its security settings inter
