how do you mod? in Mods Stardock Forums

ok whats a very BASIC or EASY task to accomplish like? - changing starting funds - changing start abitlies (add more) - or even just give me a few tips get me started ;)? well hope somone could help me please :) yours darkmatter :P

i know VERY basic modding i think lol, :D i know its .ini or txt files that you change (i did the same for red alert 2 for p.c)on that i made VERY basic units ect... soo its it as simple as that!? :d ;) let me know please im into changing games alot :) yours blackmatter

because it could be HARD CODED DOSNT MEAN ITS IMPOSSIBLE! :) im not used to modding so hear me out and no juding how many of you have warcraft 3? if you do you knowe the code is hard code 85% of the time so the developers came up with JASS editing were you can change everything and when i mean everything i mean it! soo maybe its a matter of coming up with a new way to edit the game?
