I figured out how to get the script out of the news ticker. That is something that I was trying to do. And funny enough I found premade scripts for news tickers online. And I figured out how to splice it into the other object adjust the text height and everything. I did it mostly by accident but I think I can do it again. Thanks for the help.
I know it's been done a billion times, but I would like to build a news ticker for my theme. The problem is for the life of me I cannot figure out how to do this. I am prety new to skinning and need all the info I can get. I am going in search of manuals and such on the internet.
I was able to figure it out. Seems I did not get all the registry entries the first time. Thanks for the help.
Yeah I did, not a whole lot going on there. After I reinstalled I was left with the same problem. I even installed to a new dirrectory.
I set DesktopX to user mode and had enabled passwording. I was testing a theme out and seeing how the interface worked in user mode. Trying to get a feel for the program. I told DesktopX to use the Administrator password, silly me, this does no use my administrator password, or any password that I know. Can some one help me? I tried uninstalling and reinstalling. This has only succeded in leaving me with a crappy theme. Help. Please.
