Thanks! Editing that to go to windowed mode allowed it to run, then I went to Video prefs, set it to fullscreen, exited and reloaded and Bingo - all is good!

Its weird, I uninstalled the latest driver then installed earlier releases (went back a few versions). Dark Avatar still is foobar. But Dread Lords and other earlier releases are just fine, even with 182.50 driver. Also tried the Let App Decide suggestion - no go. So I uninstalled DA then reinstalled it. Nope, no go. What I am thinking is if I can find the file that configs video, maybe I can set it to a windowed mode instead of Fullscreen? Then perhaps it will fixed t
I upgraded the drivers to v182.50 and now Dark Avatar just gives a black screen and crashes. Anyone else seen this? Any fix? I am on Vista 32
When I try and run it just flashes a couple times then I get a blank black screen with a border on right and bottom - no activity. I can close it but Vista reports Arnor has stopped working. I upgraded my NVidia software to latest driver, even uninstalled Arnor and redownloaded with same results... It was working before the upgrade... Any suggestion? Lou

Yes, they are all past the ten turn mobilizing stage, I can direct them to an enemy planet, but nothing I do gets them to attack when they get there... Any ideas?

For some reason when I try and play I am having issues with my mouse. The available motion area for the mouse is reduced, and in order to click on anything I have to randomly move around until I find a spot that coorelates to the item I want to click on. Basically it seems the mouse is operating on a difference screen size and scale, one that does not coorelate to the visuals on screen. It makes the game unplayable.
