I got a chance to watch last night, and what happened? Bo was awful compared to his past performances, so was Scott, the songs all sounded like Karoke Night at the Moose Lodge. Carrie was OK ( I think her and Bo are the finalist, their genre's are not represented by past winners and are ripe for Simon's indulgences...) Best( or least worst ) Vonzell, she hit all of her notes and then some. Who gets the boot tonight? Should be

Random thoughts on the subject; I tried the "Jarrod Sub" once. It's prepared on wheat bread with turkey and veggies and vinegar, I likened it to eating a salad without dressing in a paper bag wrap. If it's prepared with cheese, oil, mayo or mustard the calories jump to the cheeseburger level. The dietetic reasoning behind subway is flawed, nobody is gonna eat a tasteless meal day in and day out...... Exersise and activity are the

BTW, I'm 6'5", weigh around 270, with a 38" waist and a 52" chest......25 years ago I graduated basic training at 255lbs, so for a 40 something I don't put myself in the overweight demographic. I didn't get this big lookin' at food, and I have no intentions of any dietary change. My cholesterol runs about 180, my BP is consistently low, and my blood glucose stays under 100........ So it goes.. <img src="http://images.stardock.com/JU/smiles

Personal responsibility !!! ABC did a "expose" on the same sandwich last night, picturing young fat guys grazing at the BK, on sat right next to the sign for the new fruit bowl...... I'm no little guy, and the sandwich ingredients are near equal to my average breakfast, time permitting, I'd prefer grits as opposed to the bun. I'm relatively active, work out as needed, and maintain my weight with around 3000 calories per day ( some days 1500

...and here I thought Canadians had frozen their balls off in the great white north.....now if they could do something about their emmigration policies that was equally ballsy...... Question? I've seen this Hinzman dude on the news, rather effeminate if you ask me...wonder why he didn't just work the "don't ask, don't tell" angle ?

Love this show!! It seemed like an episode or two this year compared more with the old X-files tho....I agree the show needs to get back on track ( Syd's complex double life, et al ) and I think Nadia is an unnessesary complication ( particularly the parallel life story line...) Arvin is just too evil, kill him off for good already ( perhaps a job for Nadia, hummmmm ) <img src="http://images.stardock.com/JU/smiles/Wink.gif" border=0

OH Dear Girl !! Your ham is already prepared !!! Warm it in the oven @ 350 for about 15 min per pound and enjoy!!!!!! All the work is done, it's precooked and can actually be eaten cold as-is !!!!

OK, 1st, what kind of ham do you have ? Is it a sugar cured? Is it a country ham ( salt cured ) ?Or, is it a fresh ham? Fresh ham is the biggest pain in the haunches, I'd reccomend slow boiling a fresh ham for about 15 minutes per pound, then trim the excess fat, and bake @ 350' for 20 min per pound. In the boiling pot you can add some cloves and salt. For the glaze a simple solution is orange marmalade, place th

I've read blogs on topics covering everything from trailer park life to politics and anything in between, most have been interesting, or at the least entertaining. Some folks here seem to be a little testy in defending their view of most any topic, so be forewarned, if you are thin skinned, take offense easily, or unwilling to defend your article, don't write anything controversial. MOST readers will leave well thought out comments wh

OMG!!! The next thing you know they'll start denegrating the mission of the Boy Scouts........( Oh yeah, that's right, they've been after them too....) I tried reading "the purpose driven life", a little too Baptist for my Presbyterian soul ( all that guilt driven hell fire and brimstone...) but it is an inspirational text none the less, and one could do far worse than attempting to model ones life around the examples the book offers.

Beebles, About a year ago I wrote a similar blog " Firing for effect - Buzz word blogging "and yes, I am a recovering points whore. Just yesterday a response article was posted reacting to an article I had written over a year ago - Wow ! It's true the writen word never fades - but part of the problem I inferred was that my article had a "Bait" title, 47 comments ( I think it even got feature status )and was mistakenly taken for a broadbrush tr
