The lack of an ongoing business project has troubled me in the recent past. I have questioned my abilities, questioned my goals, and questioned my purpose in life. It has now been 6 months since I discontinued using Paxil, I think the drug was doing more harm than good. The other day I had the unique opportunity to purchase a 1987 Caddy Fleetwood stretch Limo, complete with bar and sunroof. This is the style limo every bad guy on Miami Vice ended up getting shot in. Beginning of week 2 of my blogging, and I show signs of addiction. Every day now consist of reading new post, commenting when motivated, and withholding comment when prudent. Don't you find the current trilogy ( with expectations of the 3rd installment ) much truer to the books than any other books- to- movies ? Commercialization does tend to take out the true meaning and purpose of most holidays, hell some have been created/emphasized just for their marketability. Surely Halloween and Valentines day were minor Catholic memorials before their commercialization. Mothers Day, Fathers Day, and Grandparents Day are all the creation of Marketeurs. Sounds eerily like my trip to Eygpt many years ago, the wonders of the past world pale in the light of the suffering today. Learning experiences do not have to be totally enjoyable to be educational , no? On a lighter note, as frail as the pyramids are, they leave one hell of a scar when you slip and fall from their base, as my knees attest to some 20 years later.
