additional info - running windows 10 on minimum machine but it worked before I downloaded a certain race from steam workshop.

This has gotten me frustrated so I hope someone has the answer. After a certain race I downloaded kept giving me error msg's about bad ship type, my ship builder main screen stopped working. If I try to create/modify a design, the components on the left show up but the main screen in the middle is empty. I deleted the offending race, as well as 2 others I downloaded that day but no help. A big draw on buying this game was the claim once it's paid for, I can download it when I wish. After a hardware crash, and windows 10 error, I already redownloaded twice. I just uninstalled it due to the game malfunction (ship designer decided not to appear, components would show up in left hand side but main screen was always blank). But when I go to my Stardock download screen, all it shows is Galciv1 & 2, the option for 3 is gone. Does that mean I have no choice but to rebuy it?&n
