Ok, let me get this clear. Normally every .exe file shows it own icon (if it includes one). But after i changed the icon for another file type (not .exe's), all the .exe files started to show the "default" icon only ( the one that is displayed when windows does not recognize a file type ) instead of the one included in each one of the .exe files I haven't changed the exe reference. I'm using 2.5 Before this version everything worked ok I've tried many things: Rebuild icon cache, restore all icons, I've tried repairing the icons with tweakUI, I've checked the default icon value in exefile in the registry... I don't know what to do.... I even made a windows repair install, but the icons where not restored. I really don't want to do a fresh install. Please Help me Thanks

I just got icon packager 2.5, I installed it and change the icons.... all went right, 'till when i was changing the icon for a file type (java files if you want to know...) All my applications now have the default icon! The .exe files do not show their respective icluded icon for some reason ( and no, it is not a file association prblm ). And if it wasn't fun enough, all my shortcuts (.lnk) now appear to be "java source files" (nope, they are not associated with anything else).
