For taking all of the money, when the real authers should have a percentage of what you make from subscriptions and other fees. It's an act of free will. No-one is placing a gun to their heads forcing them to contribute. If they weren't getting something out of it, they wouldn't do it. Psych 1

writers are in charge of their own work; out of courtesy to their reader, they must excercise care. Yes, kb! Don't you realize this sort of behavior will lead to obscurity, a lack of readership, and a complete rejection by posterity? Just ask e.e. cummings. since feeling is f

you're falling into the name-calling, generalization trap...and if you're trying to actually make a point other than "liberals suck," He did accurately describe the tactics of some of our more dogmatic members, though. All liberals? No. Some of the more vocal ones here? Definitely.

since you already agree that there is no real evil in the world, I see no reason for you to be afraid. Besides, didn't you say that radical Islam is a religion of peace and tolerance? Nice line.

(ill cop to negligence but i gotta be convicted of apathy) You're not the only one. My readership is way down lately. (Unless you were clicking on my homepage 20 times a day -- that would account for it... <img src="../images/smil

Reply By: Sick boy. Poke and sniff, poke and sniff. Well you wouldn't be so sick if you'd stop poking at it. Really, don't you know what it smells like by now? As always, "We thank you for your support."

I'm sitting here watching the Pope's funeral. The mass is over. The choir starts singing, people applaud and cheer. 12 guys walk up, lift the plain cypress coffin and carry it off. John Paul II has left the square. What an exit. Talk about the ultimate curtain call.

[Ironically, I wrote this before my current problems began....] This is a "what have you done for me lately" world. It doesn't matter what you did yesterday, let alone 10 years ago. All people care about is what you are up to right this second and where you are going tomorrow. All they believe is what they see directly

[This is going to be long, rambling, and hazy from lack of details. I apologize in advance. I don't even know why I'm writing it, other than to kick start my writing.] A couple hours drive south from where Gideon wrote his "Down And Out In America" series, I find myself sitting on the California/Nevada/Arizona border conte

Well anything's likely to get messy when you're living with a Diet of Wyrms............ Talk about taking an anti-gluttony stance too far. Oh well, that's what they get for marrying nuns; no domestic skills. No bedroom skills either, which led to the equally famous "he dicked of worms." </

i doubt he woulda been invited after the mess he made nailing 95 feces to the door of the wittenberg schlosskirche The big sticking point to reconciliation is that he never paid to fill in the extra nail holes. I hear he also stole a chalkboard from his classroom in the name of "separation of c

If you have anyone in debt to you now is the time to call in that debt! You know this biz, you're either on top or you're a pariah. It looks as if I will reluctantly be calling in some favors though. That's okay, I'll be bigger than ever someday and everyone will be my best friend. <img src=".

It appears Martin Luther will not be attending Pope John Paul II's funeral. I say good for him! They disagreed on so many things. Sure, they had some commonalities like being anti-abortion and finding a trip down the chocolate highway more abominable than a snowman, but so what? Obviously, Marty feels the old dude in the funny hat was just too wrong about too

Tom DeLay (R-Tex.) for declaring that they will "answer for their behavior." Cheney was asked about the issue on Friday by the editorial board of the New York Post. He said twice that he had not seen DeLay's remarks, That's interesting, I took DeLay's remarks not as a threat of retribution, but as

Hahhahahahaaha...and that's when I answer the door in a nightie with a bottle of liquor in one hand, a cigarette in the other, and a bulldog at my feet...hehehe Hmmm, intriguing. Don't be surprised if the next "Jehovah's Witness" at your door looks suspiciously like me. <img src="../images/smiles/joke.g

I tend to mirror back to people what they give me. If they want to play flaming a-hole, I'm happy to oblige. But it would be a mistake for them to think they "got to" me. I usually don't respond to the comments that really bother me and make me feel like packing it in.

When I was in Wal-Mart a week ago, they had baby-bibs that had tart sayings on them and were called "Baby Tease" or something like that. Talk about inappropriate, and being sold by an organization that holds itself up as moral. I can't imagine the phrase "Baby Tease" coming from anyplace less vile than NAMBLA. I guess that's where this pathetic society is.
