As far as other Stardock users posting replies to this question in a negative cocky manner, grow up. Reading these posts have stopped me from purchasing ObjectDesktop at the moment, if this is how your customers are treated then why would I purchase something from youas it doesn't seem that you care about your customers.
This is the furthest thing from the truth. We apologize for the delay. DeskScapes 2.0 will be available tomorrow for purchase. Thank
I just use DreamScene 1.0 (I have Ultimate ), but I did try 2. Was disappointed when I saw you could only run 3 dreams, but is that changed now?
If you have Vista Ultimate you can run any of the free dreams! Just download DreamScene (a Windows Vista Ultimate Extra) and the 1.02 version of DeskScapes.
All, Please update to version 2.00 tomorrow and check out this troubleshooting guide.
I have fixed part of the problem. Installing Windows Dreams fixed it, however, now only a few of my .Dreams files will work. Most of them still do nothing. =/
Which ones don't work? Video or dynamic? If you don't know just list which ones work (the dream names).
So if you want Impulse to see the games, you have to either a) add the path var manually, or b) uninstall them from SDC, then reinstall them with Impulse. Installing them w/Impulse will put the path variable in place.
Goind forward this update should be handled by Impulse automatically. A dialog stating that installation information hsa been updated (click OK) will display. Then just mouse over the items in the list to have them update to Installed or close
Franco, how did you install your Dark Avatar to begin with? Mine was done quite a while ago using SDC, and because it was done it that way, the proper registry keys were not in place for Impulse to see it. And that's why I ran into this issue.
We have finally found a good solution to this issue. The latest version of Impulse does not require a registry edit. Just fire up Impulse, it will tell you it is making a registry change. Say OK. Close Imp
great app but there are only three dream ,so im waiting for the final version.Idont understand why this app is free for vista ultimate users and the other vista users(ex home premium ,basic ) have to buy it $19.95.
This is because Microsoft provided funding for Vista Ultimate users as part of the Ultimate Extras for them to run it for free. Other users did not pay Microsoft the premium for Windows Vista Ultimate so for users of Vista other than Ultimate there is
I thought they were supposed to be released sometime the following week? But Impulse hasn't released those updates....
What updates are you referring to?
UPDATE: Still same situation, tried using CCleaner, 'puter's running great, no other probs.I used SmartException to try to find the problem as shown below.
CADesign, Does ODNT Launchpad work for you now? Please install it through Impulse and let us know. If not, can you tell me what programs you have installed? We updated ODNT Launchpad for ODNT 2008, so it may be something we need to fix in the application itself, not Impulse. Thanks.
does anyone have any idea why it isnt working?
We currently are having issues with IP4 on x64. Please use the 3.2 version until we release 4.00.
