I keep hearing "just search for what you want to see". But how do i EXCLUDE something from the search? With the OLD site we could "PICK" from a list of options like [ ] clock [ ] calendar [ ] weather, etc. But we lost that on the new layout. There is no "easy" way (or a way at all?) to list out just things that are NOT weather/clock/to-do/etc??? is that possible now? And how would someone know how to do this? Stardock?? WC ADMINS?? Are any of you watching this at all? Does anyon

Regarding the outdated weather script : Stardock quietly released a new plugin for weather with their payable suites. Documentation ? None I know of (or is there any ?). And due to the closed source character of those gadgets we have no chance to fiddle with it. Thats a shame.. I didnt even know they released anything like that.

You can: 1. RIGHT-CLICK in the web page and select "PRINT" 2. CLICK on the web page and press CTRL+P to get a print dialog. as for WITH DX, Im not sure, would have to do a google search for someone else' code.

Ok, my vote - give them a Gadget library and or whatever THEY want - the rest of us are just paying customers that don't matter. And "WE" are NOT PAYING CUSTOMERS? Since when? IMO skinnable widgets should resolve that? Yes, and i would love to work a way to read the WB skin and match the weather/clock to that skin. But since i know nothing about WB im not sure how this could be done. As for this solving the situation, i dont see that, as even though a lot of the weather/clocks are to match a wb skin, they are not the same shape, size, layout, etc. and i can people still making these that have nothing to do with WB s

I'm all for being able to LIMIT what is shown when "I" look at the listings.. but that does nothing to the person who comes in to look at what's NEW. The only solution is to get people to stop making 10000000 new lame weather widgets. There are only a few of them doing it, and its ridiculous. As I pointed out in another thread, there are ways to make 1 gadget/widget work with MULTIPLE skins/layouts. I think there would be a lot less bitching if instead of posting 10 new ski

I am waiting to see what happens with DX 3.5 being able to export to VISTA SIDEBAR GADGETS, I pray that this new feature will not introduce a flood of crap weather/clocks into that platform next. I am still hoping to hear from Brad or someone else at SD/WC...

I know we have had discussions on new Gallery's but I really think we need these 2. 1. DX Gadgets - this would be for gadgets only, so people without DX could load these and know they would work, and people with DX would know that everything in the WIDGET Gallery is a widget that can be imported. 2. i know the reason is he is in russia and windows over there works a LOT different, had similar issues when i was working with him on the Time commander. The issues are a pain to deal with. Anyone email him on this one?
