I have a question.. do you want it to make the CLICK sound or the "THAT WAS EASY" when the button is pressed? The "REAL" one we have in the office just says "THAT WAS EASY". ???
I have downloaded this and was looking it over, found a few things that you might want to "update". One of the issues was with the button being pressed when you dragged it. To solve this you use a little different call to the buttons. someone got up/down/over graphics? Can be made to point to a folder or a web site, or whatever with DX.
Ronan, check the SUMMARY tab look at the top 2 lines, LEFT/TOP, if they say anything else.. like maybe CENTER/RIGHT or BOTTOM/CENTER the position will change based on that. These are the "anchor" points in the widget. As for: RomanDA is the scripting DAddy You need to look at Vad_M's stuff.. makes me look like a noob

thats a cool idea.. wonder if there is an RSS feed out there that would have that info. It could sit in the tray, and hide, and when there is an alert, popup a window with the alert, and links to a web site or something.

This can be done.. its not as hard as it seems, but it has some issues that can cause problems, mainly minimizing the program. I have had to make this work on several recent projects. I will look into this when i get a min... email me and i can send you some info.
my experience with crapusa has never been all that great. I agree Best-Buy is a lot nicer, but im not sure if they carry as many computer type items. I think we are going to see a lot of this kind of consolidation in the coming months/years, there are just to many new stores out there. I just got an email today that there is a new Circuit City opening 20 miles from home, along with the other 6 in my area (50 mile range) i think its stupid, too many stores! It will even out

I've never scripted a thing. I don't even know if I have VBscript. Do I have to download it? These TUTs are so cool and I'd love to learn how. But gots to have the tools first. thomassen is right, all you really need here is to download DesktopX, but you need the version that allows you to create objects, not just load objects. There are several version of DX. I have included a link at the top of every tutorial to the right version of DX. Enjoy.
