It seemed to crash on me when i was adding a "NEW" object or changing an existing object. IE: I had a background object, and everything was working perfect, and i opened the porperties on the bac object to change the PNG file i was using, as soon as i click the PNG file name in the dialog box, it all crashed, lost all the scripts, just like before. Only this time, I had made a NOTEPAD copy of my main script. IE: select all/copy /paste it into notepa

Thanks MD... I found a widget that used a web page that was being generated by a script in the object. I was able to make it work, now i need to figure out how to work out the scrolling problems.. Since its a list of games, if you are watching game 5 and you scroll over to it, you want it to stay on game 5 even when it refreshes the HTML page. problem is that wont work well.. its a list that can change length over and over. Its a list of sports scores, and it will change over time, some going away some being added. Its a pain to have to create a ton of objects for this simple operation.

sales report suggestion in DesktopGadgets Stardock Forums

Simple suggestion. Can the default "start date" for the sales report be either.. 1. at least 30 days 2. the date the first gadget was uploaded 3. 6/1/05 ? Just a suggestion. I have to go in every time and change the date every time i look (once a week or so). Ok, 4. 7 days? Thanks! David

Here I am working on a new object, its been going great. I have been working on it for about 1-2hrs I think i have have saved the desktop. I agree with Martin.. 1/2 the profit gone off the top, then who knows what the "other" fees are going to end up being, isnt 1/2 the money for supling the bandwidth/hosting for my 500k gadget? If i sell 10 gadgets at $5.00 thats $25 for hosting, i can get one hell of a host for $25/mo. More then enough to host 10 downloads of my 500k gadget. 6 months to be paid is REALLY excessive as well. I agree with all of the above.. And i also think that if you have approved gadgets that someone should at least eamil you to tell you that its been approved, or at least respond to emails asking about why an update hasent been approved in 2 weeks!!

Hey all!! I have a problem I wanted to know if anyone has a solution to. I have a laptop that i use both IN and OUT of a docking station. When its in the docking station the res is 1800x1440, when its OUT I run it at 1400x1050. My problem is the dang desktop icons. Every time i boot into the docking station, the resolution might not change to the 1800, it might drop to 1024, etc. I also have to change the res now and

Update..... well its amazing how fast things can go from great to crap. After using the laptop with the "repaired" drive for almost 1/2 a day, i tried to use quicken 2005, and then corel draw 11, and photo impact 10, and lo and behold NONE WORKED!!! Cal0140, and all.. Here is how I made it work!.. 1. Download all the drivers I needed and made a CD (I used the drive that came with the laptop to be sure I had the right drivers) 2.
