yeah, its not fair.. the GOOD logo's we cant use.. Or at least the ones people would LIKE.. I bet i could make a $ if i got the NFL to let me make a "offical" skin for WMP. Oh well, wont happen.

I think it works great so far. It even found a few things that Spybot and AdAware didnt, so.... So far its been working good, checks every night for junk, pops up all kinds of warning when things do strange stuff, thats better then any of the others i had used. It might remain free just as a way that MS can say they are doing things to combat spyware, but who knows.

Again, the NFL will ALWAYS Object to anything they dont own 10000% of. I just have never done anything with a logo on it since last years' removal of my skins, as I believed that anything with a logo would be removed. I just was looking for a list of whats allowed and whats banned, if that is even possible?

I never just "copy/paste" anything i do from anyones work. None of the NFL logo's i used were COPIED from anything, all were hand drawn by me myself. And Yes Weaksid i do have my OWN logo, im not talking about that. SO does that make my skins "Fan Art" now?

Again, Im just curious, i see so many things with logo's in them, and i just want to be sure what is ok, and whats not. I guess it all comes down to who's more protective of their logos, and who doesnt care?

Fuzzy, Im not trying to get anyones worked booted, and to be honest i dont want my skins back up, as i dont need to worry about the NFL, but i just want to be sure that its ok for me to upload things or not. Thanks!

I have to ask.... What is leagal to upload and what is not when it comes to LOGOs? IE: Toyota/Honda/Coke/NFL Teams/ETC/ETC??? I had the above skin up about a year ago with several different logos in it, and they were all dumped from the site, and I was told that im not allowed to upload skins with company logo's in them.

ok, I couldnt stand it.. I went over and downloaded Konfabulator.. ok, yeah, they have a ton of things there.. but ME, I want to MAKE MY ONE Widgets! I have only had it installed for about 1-2 hours and I am already looking to just remove it. DesktopX makes creating a new widget so dang easy, its just add new object, tell it what to do, use it. I HATE having to open some stupid text editor move files, etc just to TRY and make something. I

Ok this is a joy now.. I just downloaded version 2.40F[A].002 - or so it shows in the about. Now I can RUN a widget and it works.. BUT. if I "IMPORT" the exact same widget, nothing works. IE: The Calculator from Frogboy - https://www.wincustomize.com/ViewSkin.aspx?SID=1&SkinID=2&LibID=34 It loads but you cant do anything with it. As for the LIST problem mentioned above, there is no "script" in the list now

I would suggest you download AVG Free and or another EMAIL Virus scanner program. Run it and try to see if it can remove the virus. If its a Virus AVG should find it. If its MAL-WARE I'd suggest getting the new MS Anit-Spyware or Ad-Aware or Spy-bot S&D. Just some suggestions.

I guess my problem is i have no idea even wher to begin to look to do some things.. IE the UPS/ETc thing.. Oh well... This is my point, can anyone point me in the right direction, and i dont need directions to some really hot places i've been told to go there enough i have a HOV lane now.

I agree with a lot of this. AS a newbie to DX (only been playing with it for a few months) I have found that making an object is so amazingly simple, its sick. The problem is, if I have an idea on a new widget - IE a FedEx/UPS/DHL Tracking Widget, how/where/who do i go to to see how this can be done? I think this is really interesting as i have had the idea for several widgets.. 1. FedEx/Ups/Dhl/USPS Tracking widget 2. a RSS Fee

Paul, Love these.. I have had Corel for a while but have not been using it. How about a "basics" class, things like combining items, drawing shapes, etc. I have a q about that. If I take 2 objects and "combine" them, I can no longer use the MESH tool on them, is that correct? If so, is there a way to put a "hole" in something and still have the MESH tool available?
