I have been working 99% out of town since the middle of september, and have not had time, energy, or desire to do anything. The porblem i have is im not an artist, and i usualy wait for someone to suggest something and then try and make it work. But i agree, DX Gallerys are pretty dead.
RomanDA
My fear is it will just die a slow and painful death. And i really love Dx and could do so many things. It could be used to teach school kids programming, it could be used to do sooo many things...
So, it does seem like this has died. I have not seen a response to my question about if its still being worked on. Such a shame. And i paid for OD 2010 for this main reason..
is the beta still being worked on?
the clock is a totally differnet thing than the meter plugin. But, if you want to rotate somthing that has a "dial" i guess this would work just fine.
ROFL @ Zu.. thanks man.. do i owe you a cut of sales now?
Thanks All!!
Hey.. Thanks all!! Appriciate all the well wishes.. Vad, can i have that cake???
Zu.. you are truely a one-of-a-kind person. I have to admit you are the best (on-line) friend i have. And i wish you only the best and want you to know you are appriciated for all you have done and do.
still holding off.. for now..
look at: http://browser.stardock.com/319545/
the image needs to be basicly a square that is the same height as width. its transparent bg and centered. Then you just draw the hand from the center or the clock face or whatever. the hands usually connected to the Analog Clock 3 plugin. im sure somewhere there is a tutorial, since there are like 1000000 clocks.
Fences is great. just loaded pro, and played with the rules.. need to look at them closer, like if there was a way to monitor a folder (ie: my downloads folder), and show that in a fence? Its a great program, getting better! and zu... you need to move from a grass desktop (moe? or mow?) or maybe thats Larry Moe and Curly.. wonder what one i am..
my fences that moe the files
i have not had much time to devote to anything other than the slave-drivers i work for (112+ hrs of OT in Oct, 3 days at home in the whole month). So i have not had time to watch every thread etc. So.. a few simple q's 1. can i install the 4 beta and KEEP the 3.x pro currently running somewhere? Or is there a simple ay to go back and forth between them somehow? Im not working on anything right now so i guess i could use the beta for now, nothing pre
Have not had time to even look at this.. might hold out for a while as im working non-stop right now.
We're going to do Pro betas and standard betas.
Sounds good to me. Thanks Brad!
there are a lot of plugin issues, but i guess my concern now would be if it was all fixed to work 100% with Win7, but not with XP or Vista, that leaves out a TON of people who can make use of the new gadgets.
looking forward to seeing (being part of) the beta. will be interesting to see what gets fixed/updated. PLEASE dont forget to start this by looking at the thread about what us dx "people" have been asking for for years.. PLEASE.. Hoping it works out great, and gives us new opportunities to make some great new things.
Actually you can make a master object and put 1 code block in there, its a little more complicated, but it does work.
rocking sViz!..
Very cool!
Wishing you the best my friend, praying for God's blessings on you! ok.. now go get drunk and kiss that wonderful wife of yours.. if she will let you. .LOL
AWESOME!!!! Way to go!!
Can I have your job, Dave?
You do NOT Want my job.... Out of town 50-70% of the time, working in dirty nasty coal plants. This is only in the office till its loaded, then its going to be setup and installed in a typically dirty power plant. and that will take about 3-4 weeks of 12-16+ hr days.. gonna be a "Blast".. so yeah, please take my job.. can i please just find a nice place to program DX?
