One of the things I love about family: The constant barrage of relatives coming up to you and saying, "So, when y'all gonna get busy and have ya some kee-ids?" H always declines graciously with a smile and "Not for awhile." It seems to not elicit further discussion. I always decline much less graciously and say, "Never." To which they guffaw and say, "Aw, y

Hmm, I bet I know what you're doing right now... ...sitting in a nice little Parisian cafe drinking espresso. (If you go to a Starbucks in Paris, I'm sorry, but I'll have to come over there and hurt you.) -A.

#6 by Furry Canary Saturday, April 30, 2005 Have a look at Marvin's tagline, Angloesque - 'Articles about these end times'. Marvin feels he has to tailor almost everything he writes, regardless of the content, in an effort to make it comply with his stated belief that Armageddon is just around the corner. He has be

You think the Pope is the anti-christ? What are you, Adventist? I really doubt much of anything will drive athiests and agnostics back to the church. It's much better to stand on the sidelines and make fun of both sides. -A.

Do I hope he wins, and that there is a flood of lawsuits that runs the reality show phenomenon off TV never to be seen again? HELL yes... Hear hear. I dusted off the insightful button for that (I would've dusted off the "funny" button but I can't find one). -A.

I've never met a man that can make the perfect cup of tea, but the very moment I do, I am going to knock him to the floor and shag him senseless. Er, then I better not mention that H can make an excellent brew, 'cause I'm the only one who gets to shag him senseless. <img src="http://images.stardock.com/

Anglo's sarcasm! What, I'm not...ok, well, not very...ok, yeah, you're right. No offense meant to Trudy, either--I bet I'll do that someday and then you all can stick it to me. And then I'll tell you where to-- -A.

I see your noose--er, tie, I mean--and I raise you nylons. Or, ok, maybe I'm not raising so much as calling. Nylons are the most retarded invention on earth. If we want to change our skin color, we can do that with bottles or sunshine or socks. Cheap nylons can generate static electricity (I think? mine seem to) and then your slip's clinging to them, and then your skirt's clinging to your lets; they are too tight at the top or else t

I write the handbook here, and I can assure you that we have very strict regulations on footwear. At all times (and we enforce this as best we can) you have to have something on your feet. Hey, if you're looking to freelance, you can come write our company handbook. I'd pay you out of my pocket, even.

Suz, take the thongs away from people wearing low riding trousers! PLEASE! It's hideous and should be regulated Yeah. While we're at it, how about another inch or two higher on trousers' crotches. I really don't need to see so much of girls' asses or pelvic region. I am, sadly, America

My office has this great policy where they tell us what to wear and we obey them, kind of like grade school and high school. ----What? Other people have to do that, too? Man, the real world sucks. * Ok, anyway, we have this "no flip-flops rule" at work, which I've broken nigh unto 50 times in my short 5 months (and in the winter to boo

That's ok, shades. We'll do it again some time. "gratuitous use of the word 'fuck'"? Fuck yeah! Gotta go wash my mouth out with soap now.... Cheers. -A.

I was just thinking about this a week or so ago when I was helping serve dinner at our local Christian aid house. I don't think the people who were there cared that it was a Christian organization--they were just thankful for the food. Maybe you get to a point where you don't care where the help comes from as long as it's there. Hmm, can't finish response, have to go to work. -A.

Bwahaha, I said a bottle of "run." I did mean "rum," but...anyway. See BlueDev, there are just some people out there who shouldn't be allowed to procreate. You're not one of them. Er, I mean you're one who should be allowed to. Anyway. Can't talk good today. Anyway. I'm glad my examples were perfectly sound, though I'll admit to having a few more unsound ones that I wasn't lucen

Excellent. Please pass the pina coladas...no, screw it, the bottle of run will do. Ahhh...drunken oblivion. Damn. Time to go to work. Think my boss will notice? -A.

I'm just really pissed off tonight. It's not any one thing or one person--just a convergence of the world's stupidity in one day. At work I don't have enough to do. This doesn't bode well for the number of people who do my job--nor for my newbie status. At home I have too much to do. H has no concept of getting to things on time; as su

Huh. The shoe is fitting me right now...I often don't respond to comments because I take awhile to think about them...and then sometimes I get sidetracked and forget. It's not me ignoring comments...it's me forgetting them--which, I suppose, is even less righteous. Or sometimes there are people who comment whose behaviour I've witnessed elsewhere and I don't particularly want to respond to them when they come to my blog. They're like unwanted

Is this post a joke? I hope so; if not, you're horribly misinformed and/or too lazy to think this argument through very far. Furthermore, why do you even care if some people's lifestyle is vegan? Does it affect you at all? Being vegan doesn't equal being stupid. -A.

Don't worry, I don't drive it that often I'm not worried. I used to drive a Toyota 4x4 that got about 16-19 mpg and it was a blast. The coolest car I've been in was a '66 Corvette with a big-block engine (or something like that). I'm sure it was getting about 8 mpg, especially the way we were driving it

Bwahhaha. I started typing this and realized I still had the Dvorak keyboard function turned on, and my response looked like this: Ydabtow Maorv (That's "Thanks, Maso.") Innyway. It's not the most interesting or well-written article, but I'm glad it helps. I'm a big fan of not polluting my environment, though I accept that I can't control other people's pollution. But we did get my father-in-law interested after we told him what we we
