First, I want everyone to know that I have read a lot of the posts referring to Logons. BUT, I cannot seem to get it to work. I made sure that I was NOT running in the Classic Start Menu. I went ahead, on the advice of a great guy named Jake at SD, to buy the IP. One question. The IP's download in a zip file. From there should I use the extraction that comes with XP or d/l winzip?

Here is the deal. When I click on the icon for the IP that I have saved (I usually save to my desktop) it says " The icons for the WindowsXP Classic Start Menu cannot be changed. This is currently a limitation within the operating system and not a problem with the IconPackager application" Now what??????

Thanks Koasati! When I go to d/l a package from the Icon Packager, do I d/l it to my desktop and exe. it from there or should I d/l it to another place?

Can someone please tell me if it is worth it to purchase the IconPackager software? I haven't really messed with it, but I am curious as to how it works. Believe me when I tell you that I apologize for all these posts. I have tried all the websites and calling Stardock, but I am getting no help. If I d/l a WB via the internet the skin goes into the wb icon in the tray. What about d/ling them via the WinCustomize Browser? If I d/l there is that the only place they will load from? And if so, (if the Toolbar Icon Support is there)will that also d/l'd the toolbar icons? I have everything else settled, just need a little help with this one.

After d/ling a theme that is Toolbar Icon Supported, the tollbar icons are not showing up when I open the WinCustomize Advanced Config. I look under the 'My Toolbars' button and they are not there. This is getting very confusing & frustrating. Any help would be appreciated.

So far, since I purchased the WinCustomize.com Subscription( 2-yrs - includes SkinBrowser)and downloaded the 2 exe's that came with it, Windowblinds 4.x and downloaded the 2 that came with it, I have not been able to d/l straight from the the web site WinCustomize Skins. I figured out what you were talking about toolbars, but I can't d/l. Did I need to buy something else? Sorry for the trouble with this. I haven't been able to get much of an answer from Stardock short of calling them. And t

When I d/l a new skin through my purchased version of WB's the toolbar icons are not d/ling. I used to be able to click on the icon for WB and then hit Toolbars and it would be in there. The one I am working on right now is the MSNPremium WB. Where would these icons be and how do I get them to install? Yesterday (2-13) is when I purchased the program. OK , thanks! So, here is the following mess. (part of it) that I get now when I try to d/l a wb skin. ' As an active user of WinCustomize.com who has downloaded over 50 megabytes of content from our site, we ask that you help support WinCustomize through the purchase of either a WinCustomize Subscription or registering a Stardock product. ' Is the reason I can't d/l anymore skins or anything??

So, basically I should go ahead an purchase the windowblinds program? And is it better to purchase the d/l or to get the CD version? And by doing this will it allow me to d/l more WB's w/o being redirected when the server is full?

For some reason, all of a sudden, when I go to d/l a skin it takes me to a page that says age not found". I have rebooted with no luck. It tried to redirect me to : ww2.wincustomize.com Any ideas??
