Well, here it is...Friday...Freaky Friday...I should be at work, but the falling snow continues and the icy roads prohibit travel..So, I'm here. And, I love it. In Tacoma, there are not many times when a person can say it has "snowed" for two straight days. heheheh...Coool huh? Although I stayed home with the kids, the wife went to work. I'm 17 miles away and she is just 3 miles away. She doesn't mind the drive in her new mini-van and I don't mind staying home...today. There is no way on

Hey Dave, My name is Bob. I live in Tacoma, Washington, USA. Like you, I'm married; with children (2). Unlike you, though, this is my first weblog. Check it out. It's nothing special. But, hey, I'm writing something and getting my thoughts on paper as it were. I'd like it if we kept in touch. That would be cool to become friends with someone from another country. You never know when you might travel and have the chance to meet. Lookin' forward to hearing from you in the future!

Hey all. Well, it is a typical Tuesday, but here in Tacoma, we are expecting SNOW. I am so hoping it will just dump the white stuff on us. We don't get enough of it here - perhaps a light dusting once per year! So, wish us well on that one. Today was very good at work. Today was great all the way around. Work was good. Home was good. The kids and I hung out as Mom and the Nanny went to play BINGO. Although it doesn't net a bunch of cash, we have won over a grand playing the si

Congratulations on your special day! My wife and I married on November 14, 1987. Cool coincidence, huh? Anyhow...just wanted to drop in and let you know people are reading, and people, (I, for one) care, about what's going on in the world. I am very happy you have had the opportunity to have a ceremony and be joined together. And, having your family there? Man, you are so fortunate to have their support. Again, Congratulations. Finally, having friends around you and showing their love an

Hope your Monday was good. Work was typical for a Monday today. The boss was out and it allowed me to accomplish a lot. Got many things off the "back burner" as it were and the day was very productive. I'm trying to get "things" ready for 2004. It's amazing to me how quickly one year melds into the next. Especially since my kids got into school. We found out our Nanny is getting married and moving in July, 2004. That being said, we'll have a void in the family and an extra bedr

Hey...I've been married 16 years and have had about one-half that amount of (male) friends. I'm straight. Always have been. I just have more female friends than male. When I get a male friend, people ask if I'm/we're a couple and/or gay. I hate that. Why can't two guys be "friends" without others assuming or wondering about our sexuality. I don't ask my wife if her friends are lesbians. Gimme a break! Anyhow...My best friend of two years was asked by a mutual friend of both of ours if he

Hey jerseyboi, Thank you for posting. To heck with anyone that will respond and belittle you. From my point of view (married male) I see it as a trust issue. Bryan needs a little time to learn that he can and should trust you. The fact he doesn't care for your friends means you need to be together and create some new friendships - TOGETHER. Please don't forget your current friends, though. When Brian realizes you are there for him and always will be (if that's what you truly want), he'

After seeing a friend gain clarity using a blog, I thought I'd give it a shot. My hope is that whomever might stumble onto these pages may be going through the same things as I am or who may have already lived through them. Either way, it's great knowing I'm not alone. Through it all, I hope that if you stumble on to this blog, that you will also keep an open mind and leave some sort of constructive feedback...Let me know you were here! Be honest..I am..
