Problem with that is, no one standing in this community is going to allow anyone to walk in here just to bad-mouth the software that brings us all here in the first place. That's just not going to happen. So as badly as this person got torched, he will realize that misinfor

;p I used a magnifying glass, is that part of the Parisienne IP / OD set from BoXXi? If it is, here you go: [link="https://www.wincustomize.com/skins.aspx?skinid=1684&libid=2"]WWW Link[/link]
zamah, if you're looking for basic Windows XP Themes that's actually built by Microsoft, may I suggest Microsoft Plus. It comes with four fully loaded one click no hassle themes, Aquarium, Space, DaVinci and Nature. And it's not hacking nor a bunch of programs you need to install. You'll get really nice, crisp and richly colored integrated wallpaper, taskbar and start menu color and matching media player. I think it costs about $15 bucks US. ;)

:SURPRISED: UPDATE :SURPRISED: It's most unfortunate but installing the latest version of WindowBlinds did not correct the explorer background issue I'm experiencing with the Think Green theme. Also the Think Green weather widget is still not functioning for me as well. I did uninstall, reboot, then reinstalled DesktopX out of desperation, but no go with the TG weather. I am open to all suggestions. Thanks for the help... WindowBlinds version : Win

bagbiter, you'll save yourself a ton of frustration if you present this issue to and open a problem ticket for this. From what it sounds like, you need a bit more help than just a simple fix. I've had problems over the years and I've got to say that Stardock Support is by far one of the best Teams around. So they will get back to you in a timely fashion. I truly hope you have good luck with resolving this. Cp :CONGRAT:
You know, when WindowBlinds first was Vista compatible one of top questions that people would ask me was how to get Luna on Vista.
Did you answer them before or after you puked ID?
I don't know about this, kids nowadays are 'growing up' with computers. So they are much more savvy when it comes to all this tech than your average 40 year old. So advanced stuff will probably come easier to the next generation.
Kids are application savvy Frost, but once the OS blows up, most users don't have the fundamental knowledge and navigational skills to fix it. Nor are they taught basic PC maintenance. I know this well, because I've been repairing the
I've just always thought of OD (and despite the backend, this is essentially OD +++++) and the likes as reserved for more advanced users and such to experience once they have grown used to the natural flow of the OS.
I see Phoon's point with this. It's like leaving a small child with a loaded gun. Chances are if he finds it, he'll shoot it. How can you play a concert if you don't know your scales? There is a fundamental path to learning a PC.
