I've watched this thread for several days now and I'm gonna answer your question honestly PuterDudeJ! Now, I'm a heavy DX theme user / customizer and an equally serious audiophile. Do I use the built-in media players that comes with the DX themes? To be blunt with you, no. And here's why. SKOriginals, I looked at the satillite image and I guess I see why Stocktons' so smokie now! The whole damn region is burning. Where are you located? And how's it going where you are, what is this day 6 now? As for Stockton, it's still all smoke and no sky. The sun still hasn't come through as of 1500 today. There's been several 1st stage alerts from the AQMD as well. (:(

I'm running both now, and I really like Vista! Everything works twice as fast as XP, as it should! But an OS is an OS to me! And being that I own both platforms, my question still hasn't been answered, "what is it that I can do on Vista, that I can't on XP?" The answer is not Dreams! All in all, to me there's no reason other than a noticable difference in speed, to rush out and get Vista if you're already running XP! Cp ;)
