I almost never look at the "top ten" list, so it doesn't affect me one way or the other. I just enjoy the wide variety of opinions and comments from the people here. It sometimes offers the opportunity to hear a viewpoint that you might not get from your own little corner of the world, and gives you something new to think about.

A pedophile cannot change his sexual orientation any more than a homosexual can. It is not an illness, sexual desire is part of ones base nature, and as such, cannot be eliminated. Exactly! As I don't believe in the death penalty, I can't embrace your idea of execution, but I think they should be locke

Home phone. Work phone. Cell phone. Pager. Some people can be reached anywhere at any time. Though it may be convenient, it can also become a time-wasting interruption and a source of stress. Getting Caller ID to screen unwanted calls is a small step toward independence. Then let your answering machine do its job on a more regular basis. Don't answer the

Those are just some of the comments. He basically said stop blaming others and start blaming yourself for not parenting and trying to better yourself. I heard some excerpts from his speech this morning, and I think that what you said above is, indeed, the gist of it....and that it can apply to parents

.....Jay, you took the words right out of my mouth. A lot of women would NOT support the sports package, regardless of the chocolate incentive. Might need to rethink that platform, CS!

God bless you and your children. My now 14 yr old was molested by someone she should have been able to trust, as well, in a place where she should have been able to feel safe, so I know how difficult it can be. Keep on taking care of them, and loving them. I also have to say that not every internet relationship turns out bad, though....my husband and I met online, and spent th

But I do agree with Poetmom on this one, we should have just gone home after that first bar. As long as you had fun, and you stayed safe....it's all good....

According to Plato, art is insidious because it has the power to bewitch the soul and compel strong and decadent emotions from those whom it affects. Just because something CAN have that power, doesn't mean you have to ALLOW it to have that power in a negative way. It can be either a positive or a neg

One cannot think well, love well, sleep well, if one has not dined well. Express your love in edible ways by taking time to prepare your spouse's favorite foods. Cooking a great meal of special treats is a powerful reminder to your mate that you are thinking loving thoughts. Even if you have no culinary skill, you can brew the morning's first pot of coffee.

Don't worry about what stupid people that don't care about your situation have to say. It seems that when we are going through hard times, there are always those certain people who have no compassion and say whatever they want, whether it's truthful or not! Unfortunately, this has proven to be true, tim

So what is my answer? No. Regret (and thus the desire to change the past) is useless (since I can not change the past). And if I could change the past I would run the risk of changing my life as it stands now. It may change for the better, but if I am happy and content then there seems to be a lot more room to move towards the n
