It's not quite the same, with a load of part finished buildings I can go from non-shipbuilding (+5% Ship Quality) to fully shipyarded (+105% SQ) in 4 or 5 months.
That why I said "nearly the same". But since you endup building those improvements, why not build them the first time? I always put the starships improvements at the end of my governors' queue.
Rather than reducing the micro-management, for me the current system increases it as I check every go to make sure that unwanted buildings don't get finished but are left one month from completion.
Why can't you accept to loose social spending instead of affecting to improvement that you don't want (which as nearly the same effect than loosing social spending)?
something like 75% bonus
For vanilla Galciv, it is 68%.
Now my income on each planet was far below the expense to run the planet even wtih my buildings boosting them, and 375% bonuses from resources. So what exactly is this bonus doing
The empire wide bonus is added to the planet specific bonus when determining income from taxes for a planet. But there is a cap on taxes based on the planet PQ (I think it is 4PQ)
Also how do multipl
I wouldn't be in favour of individual world sliders, as that would increase the mm too much, but let's make late game development of new systems a viable option in the future.
Especially when you culture flip an AI system where all improvements have been scrapped.

Using the F4 key (Domestic Policy Screen), you will could have access to various stats. One will present your morality. And for alignement shifting, the greater the effect of the choice (benefit or penalty), the greater is the shift. And good choice can have only penalties (or no effect). And Evil choice can have only benefit (or no effect). For each choice, the alignement shift can vary between 1 and 10. Taking good choices when it doesn't lead to penalties ans evil choice
Adding multiplayer or allowing the option to control a ship in combat would make the game dramatically better.
Ok, I am surely nitpicking but: - why adding multiplayer is great with a game that can be played in HOURS over 240 turns (only 20 games years) - what is the added value of controlling a ship in combat? We allready have it, on the gobal screen :): You choose the ennemy you attack, you can flee and lure the ennemy into chasing you. It isn't like if you

Why would you want to know what are been built on each planets? There is always the "details" button in the planetary screen, but I am not sure if that it is what you are searching. For trade goods, you could always contact the various AI to see what are the trade goods for which you haven't yet the license. Since (unless I am forgeting something) you couldn't use the trade goods/ wonders that where on a planet when you obtain that planet, I am not sure about the interest to kn

Have you looked at the description of the Controlled 4D wormholes: "The wormholes through the extra space-time dimension have been stabilized. This means the distant end of the wormhole can be controlled in terms of our normal space-time coordinates. Though not stable in the time sense, these wormholes can be created and used between any two points as needed. This will improve trade." And we have bonus in Diplomacy, trade , and hit point. I wonder if this technology couldn't

I don't have AP yet, but I never had problems to make culture flip with only one culture star base per sector in GC.
I don't understand the point of your message
The point is simple: if you have only one cultural starbase in a sector, the 2 formulas give the same result for this sector :) [Message Edited]
"Build colony ships on earth.Do not buy colony ships if you can build them. Sometimes it is ok but do not buy all the time"
The meaning is the following: if you set your spend rate to 100% and your military spending to 100%, you will be able to produce colony ship every 3 month (the first will be in april). If you rush buy it, it will appears in february. Does it worth the extra spending: no. There may be a few exceptions, but it would be very specific to layout of
is there a "campagne" in french in this game
I fear that we won't see soon the french version of Altarian Prophecy: the english version is will be distributed only through Internet. And I not sure that the french sales where good enough (due to the need of a patch to have a playable game) for Nobilis (who distribute french version of Stragegy First games) to think about the expansion. Anyway, since the biggest file to translate is english.str which is part of the

I will respond in french: population, moral et taxes sont très liés.

I have used with success the ability to set rally point for planets when the list of the planet is on the right panel. Very useful to regroup constructors befor deciding whet to do with them. I am not sure if this could be useful now that the ships are built. And don't forget that when relaoding, planets forget the rally point that where assignated to their military production
