I am a flawed person. Sometimes I am angry and mean. I will try your patience endlessly. I have been the death of a man and it may not be the last time. I will not promise not to let you down, because I will not set you up for that kind of a fall. Daily self-evalutation leads to self-hatred. I would rather hate myself and try to make myself a better person th

This is why I don't want to be a parent, I lack the social graces to be a mother that the other mothers like. I don't understand enough about the world and there are so many things that I will never understand.

Tired of me. Tired of being broken and lonesome. Tired of being in need of a friend. Tired of falling for anyone who can make me smile. Tired of my sentiments and even more tired of the things that make me who I am. Tired of my own writing. Tired of you. Tired of your devilish smile because you're hiding what's behind it. Tired of your attempt at intrigue. Ti

I don't get it either. I didn't let myself watch the video because my mental pictures are more than enough to keep me up at night. Hearing the news was enough to make me cry. I wish I had words for this.

The five o’ clock air is thick. The condensation coats my face like marmalade, sticky and sweetly cool in the early evening. Almost as sweet as the melted slurpee sweating on my windowsill, the slurpee you bought for me because that’s “what friends do.” Shy wordplay and small smiles creep into the present and I remember where my afternoon went. Lately I thin

I don't know why the rules of the Geneva Convention don't apply. Rumsfeld said it without explanation. I'm not a mind reader. What do you want me to say? As for the "violent interrogation" as a word choice, let me explain that when I write, understatement is my most commonly used tool. Part of this comes from the fact that I believe there is enough emotional argument in the news already. I'm tired of using multiple, extremely angry adjectives.

I know what a newscast looks like and I know what a congressional hearing looks like. Unless you are connected to my optical nerves, I suggest you refrain from telling me what I'm watching.

something about the things you write always makes me smile. These are things most people refuse to acknowledge.

I may be young, I may not watch the news every day. But I have eyes, and I know someone being dogged for things that aren't their fault when I see it. I was getting ready for school the other morning, and I turned on the TV to find a news anchor who had very little patience and less understanding of chain of command interrogating Mr. Rumsfeld. Not giving Mr.

This is a good one. I like it very much, the phrase "sex in leather/ at 16" is not something I have seen before. Keep it up.

Just a wee bit disturbing. I've got a few friends over there, I hate knowing where their fate lies.

So I've reached a mental block. As with all mental blocks, it is big and gray and unweilding. It can't be helped by anyone else, just me . So I'm sitting in my little bubble of thought, carefully constructed on a nearly molecular level, each tiny thought and feeling dovetailed to make a perfect surface. Wondering how to vanquish the mental block. Then
