Fences 4.0.0.3 on Windows 10. The transparency of a moused-over window changes somewhere around 80% of the way down the screen. My primary monitor is 2560x1440, and if I drag a fence window around I can see a place where the background goes from grey to partially transparent. Looks like this with the window about halfway across:

Yesterday around 9:20am, it offered the update. I installed it, and let the installer do the reboot. It's now around 11:30am, and I haven't been offered the update again. So if it's on a 24-hour timer, it would appear that it has stopped offering it.

Will do. This will take a couple of days, of course, since I have to wait for it to offer an update, get the update, and then wait to see if it offers the update again. I declined it again a couple of hours ago, and it seems to be on a 24-hour timer.

Interesting. While I don't have an *account* for the new address, I do have a *purchase* (of Fences) associated with the new address. So maybe that's getting in the way. I used the link you posted earlier to move the purchases from the "new" address to the account associated with the "old" address. (Going the other way didn't work, because there's no stardock account there.) I figured this out by using <a href="https://www.stardock.com/support/product-ke

Hmm. The page I see when I follow the link you posted says, in part: "Source Account This is the account that you are moving registrations from. You will no longer have any registrations left in this account once you complete this process. Destination Account This is the account that you will use from now on. Your other account will not have any registrations once you complete this process." That certainly implies that

I tried to change my account e-mail address on https://www.stardock.com/accounts/accountinfo, which claimed it would send a confirmation message. I tried it about an hour ago, and again about 5 minutes later, but haven't seen a message. The old and new addresses are both active and handled by gmail. I checked my spam folder. Something wrong with the e-mail gateway?

Every day for the last several days I get a message telling me that an update for Fences has been found. The first couple of times I hit "remind me later", but I eventually installed it a few days ago. The messages haven't stopped, however. According to the "About" screen, I have v3.1.3.3 installed, which is the latest version. If I click "Check for updates" in the About screen, it reports, "Your copy of Fences is up to date". So it appears to be offering to re

Question for CariElf: you said you were letting the game run in an automated mode to explore the disappearing ships. When you do this, is the random number generator seed set to a fixed value (e.g. zero)? If so, do the ships become invisible at the exact same point every time?

I just ran into this problem. The first time I installed GalCiv, I downloaded the v1.1 patch, and then installed the stardock stuff and got the 1.13 files. I recently had to reinstall everything, so this time I just installed stardock and did all my patching through that. It also claims to be v1.13, but it lacks missiles and Excalibur. Sounds like one update package has them and one doesn't.

My bug list for v1.13 after playing half a dozen games. Some of these have already been reported, but I'm just going to compile them all together. (1) After a while ships start becoming invisible. This is especially problematic on "gigantic" maps, suggesting that it's a resource management issue. All ships of a given class (e.g. Terran Corvette or Altarian Ranger) become invisible, though I can see them move with the "show alien moves" option set. (2) AI races like to make d
