I am a Grammar God! The site said so! How good do I feel!!!!!!! (or to be gramatically correct should that be "feel?????????") -- well no matter what you think, I'm now a deity of the dash, a mistress of the modifier and the protector of the pronoun. I only have one thing to say about all this: me be pleazed alot!!

Hmm... I should preface this entry with the disclaimer that I am currently EXTREEEMELY overtired and Sane Tegan (who is not currently present) takes no responsibility for anything that may end up posted as a result of CrazyOvertiredWhackedOutAndProbablyShouldCurrentlyBeWritingAnAssignment Tegan's typing. Having said that, this will probably now turn out to be

I know, I know, it's been ages since I blogged. This time I do have quite a groovy excuse though -- I'M IN SYDNEY at the moment! (feel free to inject cheers, throwing of confetti and popping of champagne corks at this juncture) I'm having a ball and I've been doing bucketloads of fun stuff, which probably means this entry will be short. A city awaits me! I co

Congratulations, Tegan! Your IQ score is 138 According to the sorts of questions you got correct, we can tell your Intellectual Type is a Visionary Philosopher. This means you are highly intelligent and have a powerful mix of skills and insight that can be applied in a variety of different ways. Like Plato, your exceptional math and verbal skills make you very adept at explaining things to others — and at anticipating and predicti

geez old people can be patronising sometimes! *sweet smiles to jilluser, vic vanity, gcj and miguna* hang in there mug -- i reckon life is richer for soul-searching and a little anguish. imagine how empty it would be if everything was sweet and pretty all the time? it's the hard bits that make us appreciate the good bits more.

the truth is that up until the last 30 or 40 years we were predominantly Anglican, although Irish Catholic did make up a large proportion. in recent years though there has been a boom in muslim and buddhism, mostly due to immigrants from countries in asia and the middle east. plus one of the most rapidly growing religious movements, and this is due to conversion, not immigration and birth, is pentecostal christianity. as a christian who falls into that

I've thought about why I blog before and there are a couple of reasons. I'd like to think that I do it for me, just to get my thoughts out. I write about things I sometimes don't get time to talk about in depth with people. I also think I use it as a sounding board for some issues -- read the comments and see what others think about what I've written. A big part of why I blog though is just to practise writing. I like experimenting with different style

thank you for an articulate expansion on a problem that affects all western societies. often these sensitive issues are talked about sensationally and emotionally. your little blurb was a welcome difference.

Alright, I lied, this article has pretty much nothing to do with the upcoming presidential election in the United States. I'm experimenting with titles though to see what people are interested in. If this fails I'm going to have to be forced to go back to the old "sex and money" drawcard. I'm at uni right now, using a 15 minute express email computer so this will be short. I just thought I'd poke my head in and say hi to everyone. I'm research

I remember hearing somewhere that dairy products have opiate properties. Is this true? I know some people have milk before they go to bed, and some people will have hot chocolate as a comfort food, but is it chemically a comforter or is the effect merely psychological? I used to be a behavioural therapist for a little boy with autism and milk certainly worked as an opiate on him -- if he had any dairy product he would be spaced out and unresp

Yo world! 'Tis early evening at my house and it's just me at home -- both sisters at work and Mum and Dad have gone out to see a movie. I'm glad to be home alone this evening as I've had so little time to myself lately and by the look of the coming weekend and ensuing week I can't see much more "me time" being forthcoming. Now that I do have time to myself though I'm torn over what to do... should I take the time to read a couple of chapters i

Hello hello It's a bee-you-tiful morning! I have about 20 minutes before I need to ferry myself off to work but for now I'm just groovin' it up, surfin' the webwaves and LOVIN' the fact that I just downloaded Cat Empire's "Hello Hello" for free (legally) from their website. Link I don't know if that link is going to work. They've changed
