Well, aimzzz, seems your advise was well timed. I booted up this morning and that file, desktopmenu.obbar, was gone. Nowhere to be found. Very odd indeed. I closed RC, double clicked on my backup desktopmenu.obbar and was back in business. Stardock, could you figure out why that file just disappeared? I'll send you any info you need.

I found a motherboard which has this spec: FSB 1000MHz Hyper Transport (2000 MT/s) A CPU with these specs: Hyper-Transport Support: Yes L1 Cache: 64KB+64KB L2 Cache: 1MB Multi-Core: Single-Core Operating Frequency: 2.2GHz So the FSB runs at 1Ghz and the processor is capable of running at 2.2Ghz. But how does this hyper transport fit in to the picture? What is 2000 MT/s?

well, I found the file to edit to change all this mess. It is in the .../stardock/rightclick folder and is called desktopmenu.obbar. Just open it in notepad or whatever and you can change all kinds of things. This would be the file to copy somewhere as a backup as aimzzz said. Is there a file somewhere which explains what each and every entry in these files is?

Howdy, My right click menu items are listed horizontally, side by side, instead of vertically, stacked on top of each other. Has never done that before. I just use the convert to current WB option, but all the preloaded skins are doing the same thing. I can't find which .obskin, .ini, .menuskin file will fix it. Any suggestions? werewolf

Also, Microsoft will give you free cd's if you have the part number, name, and serial number. Meowy, how do I do that? Is it on the MS website? I have the drivers disk from Dell, but it would be nice to be able to get rid of those partitions (btw, Dell has 2 partitions, one is the recovery partition and the other is a partition use

yup, got that one for my daughters machine. Nice to see you can opt out of the wga . Since that update there has come news that one of the patches can break IE. That's pretty much the reason I don't use the auto update. The patch is kb918899. The only recourse at the moment is to call MS support for the fix. They plan to patch their patch someime 'soon'. <img src="http://images.stardock.com/wc/sm
