I'm looking for more "tricks". eg. If you have multiple windows open, you can grab the application title bar with your mouse and shake it. All the other windows minimize. Shake it again and the other windows return. Drag a window to the top of the screen, the window maximizes. That kind of stuff. Anyone have any "tricks" Happy Holidays

you can right click on each one and choose "Go to Services" and it will show you what each is running
I would truly love to be able to make the icons in the folder pane in explorer bigger

BT...Where did you find that background with the lighthouse and the beach? I've looked everywhere I can think of, but no luck. Thanks, David btw...nice desktop
Happened to me as well. I just have to start it up again.
Win7, latest WB, TM and IP (also running Fences) I can verify that TM is still not applying the entire suite. I tried to apply the Fire theme. The wallpaper and icons were changed, but no WB and no Gadgets. Re-applying the theme got me the WB, but no Gadgets. Then, using TM to go back to the default Win7 was a nightmare. Icons did not change, WB was stuck in between Win7 Classic and Fire. Using the 'Personalize' option ended up co
It's not that the program quits working.... It only works in "Reduced Functionality Mode"
Wow..... The only reason I would like a non-impulse driven installer is because I am trying to introduce my company to the wonders of Stardock.... Fences, the earlier version, was a huge hit, but, the I.T. department won't let Impulse through the proxy servers, so there is no way to update the program. Nothing wrong with Impulse, nothing wrong with using Impulse to install, I just need some way to get the updated, working version, so that I
Sorry for your loss

Okay...back to the forums...thanks and GOOD LUCK on the finals [e digicons]:w00t:[/e] and just to be clear, I think I need to move the grub from the USB drive to the Vista drive. Not just install a new grub on the Vista.
Hi all, I have Vista installed to boot on my C: drive. I installed Ubuntu on my external USB harddrive and as long as the external is on, my GRUB loader comes up correctly. The thing is that I don't want to leave my USB drive turned on all the time. I would like to be able to turn it off, but still get the boot loader. I get "Error 21" if the drive is turned off. I believe that the loader is actually on the USB drive. I have not figured out how
The new interface is fantastic!! It's very easy to set all this up. Reflections are coooooolll :)
Please add me to your list. Really disgusting. (The floating garbage, not your idea ;) )
If your surfing on the net, it's stuck behind the browser and your working off your own taskbar. Unless it's on top of the browser and then it's just in the way.
Short-cut keys. This is actually a great addition to any desktop. Even if you already use ObjectDock. Really. They work great together. The Nexus dock discussed above is FREE!! Just try it. You'll like it.
If they fixed the "Use Windowblind Skin" setting, RC could get the new skin color anytime the WB was changed.
It would be nice to get some kind of transparency/translucency other than 'magic pink'. Have it use .png files or whatever. Just got the Naked WB and a matching RC menu would be great. Or just fix the "Use WindowBlind Skin" [e digicons][/e]
Finally got naked! Found a set of icons called 'Glass' by Asect...works fairly well. You can see all the way through most of the icons to the desktop. Pretty cool. Beautiful theme! David
So far so good. (holds breath) :) I haven't added much back into my system yet. One at a time, reboot, play around a little, add another... I'm sure you are familiar with the procedure. I also uninstalled/re-installed IP (as you are aware) and these two things now appear to be functioning with no Explorer crashing. Thank you Wizard1956 for your help. You HAVE helped and I appreciate it.
I actually took your advice the first time, but in that situation it didn't help...this time it worked. Thanks for the repeated advice and your patience.
your wbload.exe is almost a year older than the one I ended up with. Does the newer date on my version mean that this file has been updated at some point? If not, I agree with what you said about 'updating', otherwise, you should have the newer version and something went astray.
This is a dumb question, I'm sure, but if applying a theme corrected the problem, what will happen when I use that .bat file (just unregisters shellext.dll)
There has always been a "conflict" between WindowBlinds and MyColors with regards to the system tray showing the WB icon. Anytime I load MyColors, even if I don't apply a theme, it changes my settings in WB to show the WB icon in the systray. I have to go into WB>settings and re-select that option. Kind of bothersome.
As part of the troubleshooting, after I got all the icons to display as the windows default, I uninstalled IP using Impulse. There are now NO .exe files displaying their native icons anywhere. This isn't good. How do I fix that? I had to re-install IP and then apply an icon package. Only AFTER the application of the package did the files display their correct native icon image. Am I the only person to experience this?
