I always liked Tim Burton's "Sleepy Hollow" for the atmoshphere. Very visual freak. Also.... "The Blair Witch Project." I admit it. I had to sleep with the light on in this movie. I can see why people trashed it, but I spent two summers of sleeping in the woods in a tent in places where we were flown in by helicopters (the joys of treeplanting) and if I saw some freaky (word of the day apparantly) stuff like that... Agreed about production value of "Innocence". Twice the depth.... probably. Maybe that's why I was so confused? I'd like to see it in English someday. I definately lost a lot of the meaning by watching it here. The DVD's don't come with English dub or subtitles here. And yeah, the laughing man stuff can get slow.

TW I think we actually fall on the same side of the argument. I think parents do know things about kids that I won't. I don't have a problem with that. While I can definitely agree that involved parents (and probably parents that are even marginally involved) know more about a child then the child's teacher, I also think that some children demonstrate behaviours at school that aren't demonstrated at home. The causes of such behaviour are too numberable to mention so I won't. Certainly, it's worth listening to a teacher.
