MPO, please send your debug.err file to [email protected] so we can take a better look at it. It almost sounds like the data files are being corrupted. If you reinstall the game over top of the old one does that help?

Please try turning off AntiAliasing and restart the game, that may clear it up for you. If not, please tell me your hardware specs, which version of Windows you are running, and whatever else you may think is relevant.

That is rather strange. The fixer should have been the one on the ClipBoard, as he is what you just purchased. If you start a new game does it continue to happen, or if you restore a saved game does it to it again?

Try inserting the CD first before you start the game, and then close the "Installer" Dialog that comes up. Now run Political Machine, and see if that helps.

The actual Target parameter for the short cut should look like the following: "c:\program files\ubisoft\stardock\polmachine\PolMachine.exe" w Please take note of where the double quotes are.

It should still find what you have installed. When you say you did a complete reinstall, do you mean of Windows and everything or just StardockCentral? Also which version of StardockCentral are you using?

I believe you want the "w" after the last double quote in the target path.

This seems to be a bug in both the retail and the patched version. You can quit the game to the desktop and then start the Campaign Mode without going to the fantasy mode screen first, and you will have the default game settings. For those with the patched version, you can start a Quick Play game, then go back to the main menu and start a Campaign Mode game. This will also reset the settings.

There seems to be an issue where all of the necessary files are not being written if you are doing a clean install. We should have this fixed by the end of today. Later today, please redownload StardockCentral and then reinstall it.

There were some bug fixes and things. You can check out the comlete list by selecting the history link when you have political machine selected in StardockCentral. To play a multiPlayer game select the Join MultiPlayer game in the main menu and the select the Refresh List button in the next screen. This will list any open games. You can also start your own game by selecting the Create button on the Find Game Screen.

It should advance, however you may have hit an autoSave bug. Did you save and resume the campaign at some point?

A new candidate is unlocked after each victory in the Campaign Ladder. You should be able to play as the unlocked player in quick play.
