Peter: Glad to hear that you have found a way around the Download speed issue. In any case, there will be a new version released today or tomorrow that should solve many of the issues, including: Pause and Resume, Stability Issues, and a few other minor bugs. Cactoblasta: SDC should be much more stable with this new release. Please give that a shot when it comes out either today or tomorrow.

Jackey: As it turns out, there will be this option for subscribers in the future. We are currently working on all of the logistics that go along with that type of media distribution. You will have that option in time. Peter: If you could, please give it another shot and send the log file along. Its going to be tough to figure this one out without it. Also if you could check on it every once in a while and see if it takes a really l

Leyic: Since that is the case, before you delete the entire SDC folder, do a File->Archive on the apps that you don't want to download again, then save the backup folder someplace. Then if you need to delete the entire SDC folder, you can then restore what you had without needing to redownload.

Which version of stardockCentral are you running? (please include the build number) If you are not running build 58 or higher please redownload SDC. You can try deleting the \program files\stardock\sdcentral\alloc.txt_ file and try the install again to see if it will download the Alloc.txt file again. You can also (I hate to suggest it) delete the entire \program files\stardock\sdcentral\temp folder and redownload it. Also please send the

Hi Raven-sb, You should be able to rightClick on the app -> Archive Application->Selected Application. That shouldn't re-download the files just archive what you have. The archives will end up in the \Program Files\Stardock\SDCentral\backup folder. Copy that folder to the other machine (either by CD or network or whatever). Then install SDC on the other machine, copy the \backup folder that you saved off to the \program files\stardock\sdcentral

Eamerial: What version of StardockCentral are you running? Please be sure that you are running build 58. Here is a link to it: http://storage.stardock.com/files/stardockcentral20.exe That should clear up your problem. If it does not please email the \Program Files\Stardock\SDCentral\Installed\dc2dp.log to [email protected] with a note on the issues you are having. Hi, Within stardockCentral I don't believe there is a good way to archive it all as one big chunk. You will most likely not want to do this anyway because the resulting file will be quite large. (You might be able to fit it on a DVD though). To answer your question though, you will have to archive each part individually. Thank you, Jake

TCanty: It sounds like you are some how not using the latest version of SDC: http://storage.stardock.com/files/stardockcentral20.exe As for the patch there is a delay between when the patch shows up on SDC and when it is put up on this site. There is a download section, and the patch is the first entry. Eamerial: What happens exactly when it dies? Is there a long delay and then it stops? If you press cancel before it dies and then start the install again, does it get past wh

Please make sure that you are using this version of SDC: http://storage.stardock.com/files/stardockcentral20.exe Also please try clearing your \Program Files\Stardock\SDCentral\temp folder and try the download again. When then happens is there a long pause where nothing seems to be happening and then it dies? If so, press cancel (when it looks like its going to die) and then select GalCiv and press install again. This also could have been caused by a server reboot

We are working on an official pause button that should be released in the next few weeks. For now, try pressing Cancel and then close StardockCentral. When you re-open stardockCentral and select install it should pick up where it left off. I appologize for the incorrect info from before. This procedure should work for you.

When does it crash exactly? What are the steps you take to make it crash. Also are you running any sort of security software that may be stopping it from getting to the internet? Are you able to download anything from the free stuff section properly? Also this is a link to the newest beta of StardockCentral: http://storage.stardock.com/files/sdcentral_current_slim.exe If for some reason you still have issues after that, please send an email [email protected] with your serial

You could also go into Tools->Settings->Advanced and set the Achive/Restore folder to be on the other drive. Then use the File->Archive Application function to archive the game to that folder. Then go to Tools->Settings->General-> and check the Prompt To Enter Installation Directory. Now do a File->Restore Archive and point it to the new archive you made on the second drive. Then you can install it whereever you like. Once that is all do

Hi, Thank you for the info on the incorrect link. That has been fixed. You do actually have a TotalGaming.net account however the invoice was labeled incorrectly. As for stardockCentral hanging, please check your cookie settings in internet Explorer->Internet Options->Privacy->Edit and allow stardock.com and stardock.net. That should get you fixed up.

At this very moment, I am clearing my first major hurdle at Stardock. This was to not grab the title for the shortest employment duration of any Stardock new hire. *phew* The next major challenge is learning the many different products and completely seperate product lines. In addition to this I've been trying to get aquainted with all of the different Stardock websites, in order to start helping with online support. The first project along side product/website ex
