yes, but I also think that a doctor should take the time to check their patient out

so if i give my children a time out..... that means i will lock them up somewhere? Or if I take away a toy because my son hit my daughter with it......... then i am depriving them then i am abusing them??? OMG be reasonable! children need discipline, without physical abuse. and I agree, yelling is wrong.

glad u had a doctor that you could trust and hope u find another. messy buu .............. that may be it, but does that give them a right not to care about their patients?

The movie is called The Doctor (1991) Surgeon Jack MacKee (William Hurt) has long learned to examine his patients not as people but as specimens. In an ironic reversal of professional perspective, the unfeeling doctor learns that he has cancer and realizes the businesslike treatment he has always doled out does nothing to encourage his -- or anyone's -- recovery. While forging a special bond with fellow cancer victim June (Elizabeth Perkins), Jack begins to discover the healing powers o

What is wrong with our doctors today? Seems to me they are more concerned about getting paid than making sure their patients are healthy and taken care of. You are sick and go into the hospital emergency department and what happens? They make you wait for hours, then when you get in to the ER you wait another hour or so just to have them tell you that nothing is wrong and they send you home. When my son was first ill, we spent the better part of 2 weeks in the hospital emer

A friend of ours has recently been killed ( 2 nights ago) while snowmobiling not far from his home when he collided into a farm tractor. I am not sure if alcohol was a factor in his death, but why can't people be more careful? He was 30 years old, leaving behind his wife and 5 children. Brent - you will be missed by many There were 33 snowmobile deaths last year in Ontario. My cousin who was 24, died in a snowmobile accident about 3 years ago when he hit a tree.

As a Caniadian Citizen I am outraged!! It's ok to hit my children now as long as I don't use anything but my hand? I'm sorry, but I don't think so! There are other ways to dicipline our children without using something that will make them afraid of us and scar them emotionally. Cheryl Milne, the lawyer for Canadian Foundation for Children, Youth and the Law, which had challenged the spanking law, said the court had given a mixed message. "I'm heartened by the court's atte

Wow, I finally saw the movie RADIO tonight. What can I say? I was deeply moved by this remarkable story of James Robert Kennedy . I wish alot more people were like Coach Jones Reminds me of when I was in high school and we had to take a Co-Op class, where we would go work somewhere to earn a credit. I worked at a public school in a cl

Women over 50 don't have babies because they would put them down and forget where they left them. One of life's mysteries is how a 2 pound box of candy can make a woman gain 5 lbs. My mind not only wanders, it sometime leaves completely. The best way to forget all your troubles is to wear tight shoes. The nice part about living in a small town is that when you don't know what you're doing, someone else does.

I think you can pretty much pick up on idol babble in the first paragraph. And yes, we do tend to expose ourselves on certain topics, but should they be made inferior because they tend tyo have a different view?

Why is it that so many people are so quick to criticize others for what and how they write? Some people may not write as eloquently as others, but isn't what they are saying just as important? In most cases anyway. I have read some posts that weren't interesting to me, but that doesn't mean it's not important to the next person. Some people write for themselves, others asking for advice, but doesn't everyone deserve the chance to express their own opinions? This is just my opinion.....

My mother and father were divorced when i was about 1 year old. I lived with my mother and never got to see my dad. I later learned that he tried to see me, but when she scheduled a time for him to come over, she left the house with me so we were not home. My childhood wasn't a happy one. My mother was married and divorced 4 times, all mariages adding up to about 5 years. I remember all of the men that came and went and all the drinking that had occured. Growing up with an alco

I saw a ghost once. It was when my son passed away (at home) . I looked away from him for a second then looked back, and instead of seeing my son's face, I saw my grandfathers, for what seemed atleast 10 seconds. Then when I saw my son's face again, he was slightly smiling. Was something I will never forget.

Well, whatever or whoever it is, has never been anything but just a calm presence, letting me know they are here. I have talked to a few people and they have said that since I've only heard the footsteps on the stairs leading to the bedrooms , that maybe it's checking in on my children. And i thought i was imagining it all, until the light and the radio incident I mentioned in my other post. But I will be sure to keep everyone posted about anything else that happens. My husband and I we
