Is the UAC on or off? Are you using Vista Home Premium? If you are - turn the UAC off! [ user account control - in user accounts via control panel ] If there is still a problem - try this... For the font issues take a look at the ui file and see what it has for system fonts settings. It should only have these settings or you will have problems with colors and changing to a font you want in the start menu. as such it should be here [SystemFonts] SystemMenu=0 SYstemMessage=0 SystemStatus=0 0 being the system font to be used any other entries will cause it to lock the fonts for the start menu to whatever is named here for the font - with also maki

They will still post the wb's for free and all that even encrypted! That solves nothing and cause's more damage than good. When you say premium suites - do you mean those that are sold via stardock wb's and such too? Or is this just my colors? And what about the ones being released via stardock central to members elite? Protect it all you want - if I pay for something it should be what I thought I paid for... ie... are even past themes for my colors also going to be encrypted now too? If so I will asking for a refund on all of those themes also. When I bought the themes there was nothing about the theme being encrypted. My reason is simple... most of these themes do not work correctly with Vista. They have to be edited. Which I have done in the past with little reason to say much of anything to anyone.

I do not prefer my XP to look as Vista does. If I did - I still have the original Windowblind that was used by Microsoft to make the theme with originally. Thats truely sad for those people. With the proper administrators there could be as we have at work. Vista business with total security - heck we even use the new servers too. Oh there are few laptops still running XP Pro. But for the most part it is Vista Bus. These people do not want to spend any money on there systems anyway and if you ever notice - the computers are never maint. or even cleaned by a service tech. Hey my UAC has stopped working...Like it has vanished or something. I'm using the new Kaspersky Internet Security and it's gone! So is the spam and spyware with of course viruses too. WOW I really like that. As for DX - had that problem too. So now I only use gadgets made with the new SDK gadget maker from Microsoft. Go to your control panel and click the sounds and audio devices icon. There go to sounds tab. Look through the listed sounds and make your changes or choose another sounds scheme; such as the windows default. Say apply and ok... Hope this solves the problem. SGT :HOT:
