In November we announced that we would have DeskScapes 2.0 publicly available in February. We have failed to have a stand alone public version available for a variety of reasons, primarily, the difficulty in dealing with so many different hardware configurations on Vista. We have DeskScapes 2.0 beta on Object Desktop. ODNT users are more used to dealing with beta software and are giving us feedback which we're working through. [B]If someone wants it bad enough, get Object Desktop.[

Second attempt..... Brad may well be showing off Object Desktop 2008 but, judging by the 'obvious' care and attention they have lavished on, and how well they have kept their promises regarding Deskscape 2.0, I would expect this to be ready sometime around the summer of 2011. All I can say is, you guys set the date as Feb 2008 in the first place. If you weren't going to make that date then why set it? I think it's unprofessional to have people sucked in via the whole anticipation thing, then they get tired of waiting and there isn't a proper release date in sight so they just say stuff it and buy Object Desktop just so they can get the beta...or is that the plan.
