dharma, that statement didn't offend me in the least. With all due respect, it rather baffled me. I'm just curious what you mean when you say "impermanent"... do you mean in the long run? Basically we'll all die, go in our graves and that will be the end of us? Or do you mean that next week, month or year what you did today doesn't affect the future? I'm guessing you mean the previous, but I'm just curious. Thanks again for sharin

"I don't know if there is a God or not. It really doesn't matter anyway..." Please just ponder what you said. --------------------------------------------------------------------- "I believe that everything is impermanent..." If everything is so impermanent, why do you try to live by the "5 basic precepts"? Sarah

Anne- I think people are less into poetry than other stuff. I enjoy your poetry a lot, and always look forward to coming to your blog, really I do. Not only is your poetry good, but I love your writing style. You're very passionate, as Dan says, and it makes learning more about you more interesting. You've talked about "The Jar Bell" quite a bit, or so it seems, that I'm now reading it... so far, so good. Keep up the great writin

Go to your library and get a few books on SAT prep. Don't be overwhelmed by all there is, just start somewhere. One important thing to know: In each section, generally speaking, the questions get harder as they go. So number 1,2,3,4,5 etc, will be fairly simple, whicl 20,21,22,23,24 will be pretty hard. They each count the same, so if you don't have a lotta time, do the first ones first. Hmm, yeah... Good luck Sarah</fon

I really don't know much about buddha... do you believe he is your god? Or is he just a man who was believed to be enlightened? "I'll have to sit and think about things this evening and come up with a structured train of thought regarding what I DON'T believe and why." Sounds good to me... I'm not here to argue, just try and understand ya. :o) "Oh, and please, please...don't preach to me, or try to convert me. It's all been done

dharma- Do you mind sharing your "major issues" with Christianity's definition of God, creation, and salvation? What does Buddhism teach about budda, how we came to be and the afterlife? Thanks for sharing your veiwpoint. Sarah

Hey, dharma, thanks for sharing your beliefs. It's always interesting learning about different religions. I'm just curious... what made you choose Buddhism over Christianity, that is if you have done that? And if you believe the following, why do you think that Buddism is the "best" or "most effective" (for lack of better wording) religion? Sarah

Dan~ I know what you're saying. I'm not understanding myself very well either. "Interesting take, Dan. However, I think the fear of commitment and love doesn't tend to discriminate based on gender." Shadesofgrey~ agreed... Thanks for your advice Tractorman~ Thanks as well for your advice. I am guarding my heart, and that may be a bit of the problem. I've always known to guard my heart, and I'm having trouble deciding when/if to

I've liked him for a year and a half. We've been dating 8 months. He used to be pretty immature, but I liked him anyway. I used to wish he'd call me once in a while, not just talk to me online. I wished he'd buy be chocolate and flowers and take me for long walks in parks. I wished he'd take me out all the time, just to spend time with him. Recently, he

"but only close relatives have my surname." Was the blonde of me to say? I'm so serious, I've never met anyone else with my last name, unless they're like a second cousin or something. Nah, I've got curly, blonde(natural, might I add) hair.... but I'm pretty cute anyhow. Sarah
