"There are some things that our minds can't quite fathom." "I don't believe that." Would you care to explain to me, quite clearly, how the human race came into existence, how the earth was formed? Or haven't you spent enough time, had enough patience, and put enough thought and effort into it to know?

"I sometimes have to work on Sunday (thats one of the Big-X isn't it?)." No, is working unholy? Unless you're a stripper or something of the like, I think not. Jesus healed on a Sunday, and that was his work. No, it's not inherently a sin to work on Sunday. --------------------------------------------------------------------------- GCJ said "and no sin is worse that the other. All and any sin will send you to hell. " <B

"my favorite example is the word colour.. or as you would say.. color... What the devil were you thinking?" Hey now!!! I'm a yank and I spell colour, colour, and Saviour, Saviour. I spell favorite like that though, do you spell favourite this latter way? Ohh, and somewhere (don't remember) someone (don't remember) had a blog where they spelled sometimes, sometime.. or maybe that was just a grammar mistake, but they did it twice, what's up wi

"Why? I am not content to shrug and say, "I guess that's just how it is." Just because you have no sense of curiosity and healthy skepticism doesn't mean the rest of us should be content to accept a myth, one that you just admitted is "crazy."" I resent your comment. I think I have a healthy sense of curiousity and healthy skepticism, but that doesn't mean I can't accept things the way they are. I admitted that it's crazy simply because it i

Thanks guys for all the advice... Trinitie~where did you say you didn't like my writing? I won't take offense, I'm just curious. Another thing I'm curious about is if Trinitie is your real name. I'm guessing it is and that's pretty cool, if so. TARSIER and dharmagrl~trust me, I am isolated, and I'm still not smart, DANG! Tangled Wishes~ great idea with the trivial pursuit... I think we have it somewhere. I used to babysit

"One question that always bothers me is if God exists then who made God and which chap was running the show before he came along?" I know, it's crazy. But, there are things we don't/won't understand in this life, but need to accept all the same.

The more I learn, the more I feel as though I know absolutely nothing. I kid you not, I feel like I have the brain of a 4 year old. It's not so much lack of intelligence as it is lack of knowledge and experience. I don't memorize well, which doesn't help me out a bit here. There's so much in this world to see. I've done nothing with my life so far, or so it feels like. If I could know 1/100 of everything there is to know, I would be the smartest

I am so, so sorry. I know there are no words for this, so I'm sure I'm not helping, but just know that I'm praying for you, and the family/friends of your friend, whoever s/he may be. Just remember, when all else fails, and everything and everyone seems so far away, God understands.

I was thinking about this the other day, and I agree also. I was talking to my friend, a foreign exchange student from Germany, and she says it's much safer over there. They can drink at 16(or is it 15? I forgot), but they can't drive until they're 18. I'd rather have it the way we have it... maybe that's because I love driving, but that's beside the subject. I think you're right, we should be allowed to drink at 18; that's an amazing point. You c

Today was kind of crappy, to be honest. Mondays are never the best, so I suppose I should expect it, which isn't the attitude I love to take on. It started out this morning. I slept in until nine, and these past few months it seems like no matter how much sleep I get, it isn't enough. But anyway, I went out to feed the horses right away, and tried to clean the paddock. I kept thinking about my boyfriend and how irritating he is sometimes, and how

It all depends on what dictionary you use. The American Heritage Dictionary says that marriage is: a.The legal union of a man and woman as husband and wife. b.The state of being married; wedlock. c. A common-law marriage.

Yesterday I was thinking about it, after taking my mother's wise words to heart. I was thinking about my boyfriend, as girls, stupid girls, often do. My mom thinks that playing hard to get is the way to go. For whatever reason, my boyfriend rarely asks me to do stuff. Maybe he doesn't like hanging out with me, maybe he thinks it's a waste of his time. Maybe it's because he made me look like a bitch in fr

No where in the Bible does it say it's a sin. Lusting is a sin? I think that if you're lusting it's a sin... if you can masterbate w/out lusting, i suppose it's fine. I think after you're married you should be looking for sexual fulfillment in your spouse. I don't think it's a sin after your married, but I don't think it's a good thing to get into the habit of doing.

I think I said a quick prayer after I read your "touched" article. I know I was thinking about you, and I'm sure I did pray for you. I was thinking about you yesterday and was thinking about telling you my mom's brief story. A few years ago she found a lump on her breast and went to the doctor and had all those lovely tests done, and I think she was fairly scared, her fears somewhat subdued because she really did rely on God, because her mother had
