They're not just interesting stories, and how come it is that the prophesies were being fulfilled and some still are and some are yet to be fullfilled (look at Revelation). If not for God and what the Bible teaches, where did you come from? Who/what created/made you? How did you get here? I have seen God work in my life and in so many of the lives around me, that I can't help but believe. Faith plays a huge role in my belief in God, but my relationship with God plays an even bigger role.<BR

I live in Wisconsin, and it's so cold, so I haven't been on my horse much, but last night I couldn't stand it. It was snowing lightly then heavily on and off, and I fed them their hay at about 7:30. I nervously climbed on my gelding, my heart pounding in my throat, and was overcome by a great sense of joy. I was nervous because the last time I actually rode him, he had just had shoes put on him, and he went n

Would you like to explain to any degree at all why you would think I'm an idiot? Even if you disagree with my opinions that doesn't mean you should act as immature as to call names; but since you have you may as well explain yourself.

So, you go along with whatever is acceptable at the moment? Do you let the worlds standards become your own? It's kind of like this; sure, you married each other for selfish reasons, and you say now you don't need to use one another anymore, but the thing is you said "for better or for worse, rich or poor" right? Were your intentions to spend your life with this man until the day you die? That really is beside the point because the truth is you married him, and marriage is forever. That's w

Oh man. I really did exaggerate this article, honest. This only lasted like 2 weeks. I don't go to school.... I teach myself at home. Hmm, sorry to get you worried... umm, I'm fine now and this article makes me sound much more hopeless than I truly was.

Yes, we have a serving team at the church I go to. They rotate the memebers of the youth group from nursery to greeting to ushering to office work. Remember my friend in the article, the girl that tried to OD, I've thought about inviting her, and I want to, but she doesn't need to KNOW more about God. She just needs Him, and His love. I was talking to my Mom the other day and telling her how I want to help this friend, but I don't think it'd do any good to invite her to the youth group I cur

I just came in from the barn. My parents were talking to their friends about the church they're going to now and how they had just attended a great seminar there. I was busy putting these people's kid on my horse, and letting her feed him, but in the background I noticed something that struck me, just a little thing, but really, it struck me. Here this couple stands, making casual conversation, and the man asks my parents if they know so-and-so "tha

You, tukkerbear (Anonymous User), wrote: I married him for looks and he was great in bed. and then you also said I married for the right reasons, children. I wanted to do the best thing for my future kids by giving them a healthy, good-looking headstart --- and it worked. My children are admired everywhere we go. that is very, very shallow. Do you really want your children to be admired because of their good looks? I am assuming that you don't have children who have p

I know what you mean about how some things seem so personal you wonder if you should be reading this... I'm just hoping none of my friends come to this site and find my name. I was thinking about it yesterday, how it is so personal.. but I figure "hey, these people don't know me personally". I know what you mean. Thanks for the comment; greatly appreciated! I know someday I'll find someone who's in it for true love, God's kind of love, not just lust, what our society today refers to as love.

One man, I completely agree with your previous post above! I think the age of marriage should be saved for another thread, as it is another topic enirely, Anywho, lust is a perfect word for what people think of as "Falling in love" these days. Something to add to it below; the epitome of what love should look like. "1If I speak in the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I am only a re

I think it is utter ridiculousness. Homosexuality is wrong and that should be the bottom line in our society. Pretty soon we're going to have an ape and a pig being married to some guy who thinks he's in love. It's just going to keep progressing and making us look more and more degradable and worthless as human beings.

Thanks for responding, and thanks for the tips! Hmm, "wicked" is a word I use for emphasis. I'm not the only one who uses it... at least I don't think I am. *contemplates for a moment* Yeah, I've heard it elsewhere. Ever heard of the saying "your mom". It's about as pointless as that. lol

Dude, how old are you? I'm sure I'm far too young for you, but I believe myself to be attractive, as well as many guys. (I'm sure this won't tell you much, but I'm blonde (long) deep blue eyes, 5'8" ish, slender). I think I'm fairly intelligent, I'm teaching myself through high school ;) Well Read... let's see, I haven't read THAT many books, but I do like to read and more as I get older. I LOVE TO TRAVEL! Definitely a funny and happy-go-lucky. Maybe I lack enough seriousness sometimes. Hmm

January 01-08-04 I live from day to day off the memory of seeing you Sometimes I feel like I'm living a lie, but then I see you, and know it's true We're good together Though sometimes I can't see Sometimes I feel like I'm living off of something that I only wish would be If I'm not with you, I'm thinking about the times we've had You and our memories are so good, so how come I feel so bad? I feel us drifting apart,

January 27, 2004 What has taken over me? What is this feeling of hopelessness? Gone are the days when I was fun, vibrant and excited to live life and see every new day. Is this just winter's hibernation taking over? I thought today would be better; the sun is shining. But still this uneasiness and overwhelmance takes over. My life used to feel like it was something worth living. I feel like I'm slowly slipping away from all I used to kn

February 5, 2004 You can make me so pissed off, beyond belief; I want to slit your throat. Then I see you and I melt, and then I get really angry with myself. You're so charming, that's for sure. That's another thing that makes me so mad at you, but makes me fall for you everytime. You know it too; all you have to do is stare at me and you have me smiling. It makes is so much easier to forgive you for all the shit you've pulled. You smil

My gosh... that's very shallow. But in spite of all that stick through it. Statistics (don't we all love them?) say that in 5 years you'll be happy you did. Get over your immaturity and superficiality and realize that you made a vow, for better or worse, rich or poor, not "when sex is good, money is flowing, and we're both still goodlooking" Good grief! Go to counciling and try and make it work... Love, true love, is not cicumstantial, if you know
