What about the computer from Starcraft?

Since mine installed to my SDC directory, if you could put that in your custom drive, would that do it? [Message Edited]
I think you have to submit a game for the fix to go into effect.
Wow. I wasn't suffering this problem, but I am still glad regardless. More competition. :HOT:
Small bug, don't know if anyone else has mentioned this. After using my standard bribe to get the AIs up, I see in the Stats tab, Economy section, an amount of something like 4 Trillion drain on my economy per month, but it does not exist.
Perhaps the woman who was the computer on Andromeda?
I have just been putting mods under the main GalCiv directory. My AP and GalCiv directories are in different drives, and anything I put in the GalCiv directory shows up in AP. So the base directory should work. I don't know if it goes both ways. Hope this helps. :D
The Terraformer raises PQ by 20% on each planet, and the wonder raises all planet PQs by 1. The Soveregins and all other ship bonuses do not stack I believe, they are percents I believe. That would be the Fundie event, the orb one. Would be nasty for Evil civs. To keep it off, I think you have to use espionage against all. The Fundies and the Draginol are the only two I can think of off the top of my head.
your ftp link just opens a explorer window with no upload options. Send me your email address to and i will email it to you
I am going to get one shortly, since I will need it to test out Icho's mods. When the time comes...look for a score drop. I'll have to play Gigantic just to keep the score somewhat reasonable. What would be an expected score?
Well, we know that it will not likely be a popular option, but it exists because we want everyone to do what they want. :D
Yes, yes, I get it. I messed up. Two culture game wins and two technology game wins per MONTH . Everyone happy now? ;p
The Diplomats Empire, always known for its uniqueness, has decided to change its laws. These changes were done by the people. The active members of our empire determine our laws, and WE WANT YOU! Our laws show our uniqueness from the Metaverse. We are an empire of only active members. One of our new laws is that members we consider to be inactive, which we define as not posting here or in our private forum, posting a game, or sending an e-mail to our emperor, Dream Warrior. Those w
will do frogboy, btw what name would you like credit for testing to fall under?
I assume he would want credit under his name. Afterall, Brad Wardell is a well known name. :D
You shouldn't need cheats to win a game. You should play for fun.
I just played a bit of a game. Was playing on Normal, doing great, had every state but Hawaii and Maine under my belt by week 10 as the Democrats, but then I just started losing states around week 30, I had no money, and I couldn't get around to get them back. May be my strategy, but a TV ad brought the whole country under my belt early on. Also, I noted define lags, mostly clicking on state details, and switching between endorsements, and g
Here's the fix in case you have trouble finding it.
#12 by Citizen Bromoser - 5/7/2004 7:14:42 PM Yes, go to "SDCentral" folder in Stardock folder. Hit "Restore" program and it will reload/setup Stardock followed by automatic update if internet connection is ON.
Works like a charm. I just had to do it too. :)
Only a matter of time before someone makes a portable console with LCD screen.....
They already exist on XBox and PS2. Still requires a plug though, I think.
Nope - using the latest greatest version downloaded from StarDock just a few days ago.
Ok, I take it then you did not submit your last game then.
You seem to be using quite an old version. There have been many updates to GalCiv. You get a lot more points that way too. And we aren't all heartless monsters that promote violence. ;) http://diplomats.galciv.org [Message Edited]
I actually have a PS2, but it isn't much good for me except for first-person shooters, which work for that since I have a laptop. But for strategy they are horrible, so as long as strategy is a demand, and I know it will be, I think computer games have a future in that. And I agree with Wulfer, just try to take my PC.
The new ships sound good. I already use a 100 pop colony ship, but I haven't done anything else with it. What I would really like to see is a scout with bigger range. Shouldn't a scout have the most range, not a freighter?
I have to say the same. I will keep Stardock at the top of my list for computer companies. I got GC at Best Buy, and once I got it and went onto the web site, I found all of the online options, and was quite dissapointed when I found out I could have got it online. I like it much better, no middle man. I went to Best Buy (just to look :) ) and found that the RoN expansion was out, and my first thought was "Hey, I wish I could buy this online" I will be quite hesitant to buy at stores anymor
You didn't help him! Recruiting! LOL ;)
Well, I see Tech's back to Veteran. Is there any hope for some of the other deserving players here?
