sorry- windowblinds. The image behind the toolbar in the folders and such- called rebar.bmp in skinstudio you find it in control area. Thanks.

Odd Problem in WinCustomize Talk WinCustomize Forums

I have an odd problem... all of a sudden, I cannot see the toolbar background image in the skin I am working on when applied, sigh. It is there when I change themes- just not applied for mine. It is a bmp, the transparency and translucency are not engaged, and the file is in the folder. Any Ideas? Thanks! ~Anne

It worked! I cannot believe that wa the problem- of all the silly things!! I could not see anything inside the folders- except the contents listings- nothing. Thanks so very much!! ~Anne

See the bar on the side that says system tasks, etc? Mine is gone with the skin I am editing. Change skins, it reappears. Won't let me go to tools/folder options/view similar tasks in same window option- just doesn't change anything. Hope this explains it! ~A

I can't do that till after work- but what I mean is when you open a folder- like my documents- there is a bsr on the side giving you other options- and details...there is also a pic in the corner- these are not visible fopr me...hope this explains- but I will do the screenshot later if needed. This is driving me nuts!!! For some reason, on the skin I am bulding, I apply, and I can not see the folder views- it reverts my folders to windows classic- and will not let me use the folder options, show common tasks options. I change back to another theme- and voila- folders are perfect again. I have compared codes- but I don't see any triggers or differences that are causing this....any ideas? Please? Newbie Help, please in WinCustomize Talk WinCustomize Forums

When I first started making themes, I made like a ga-zillion before an exprienced theme author was kind enough to point out- these are not looking the same on our systems as they are looking on yours. I am wondering if this is the case now- with skins. I am getting a lot of comments on my margins- and, obviously they are looking fine on my system. Is this artistic difference- or am I missing something? Unfortunately, I am a very visual learner- so telling me there is a problem with my margin

Could someone please tell me the difference between uis1 and uis2? And- how do you convert a skin you've made fro m 2 to 1? And how do you include both in the same skin .wba file? Should I dother with uis1? Thanks for the help!! ~Anne

Please help!! I am stuck for an answer- somewhere along the way, in all my fiddling and tweaking, I have lost the sidebar on all the insides of my computers folders. You know- the one that suggests other places, fold up windows- that one? I have tried everything I can think of- so now I am coming hat in hand and begging- PLEASE!!! HELP ME!! I know this is a simple fix- I just can't think of it.... Thanks!!
