. . . or has the place where one views Theme Manager themes changed from the Display utility to a subcategory in Window Blinds? I kind of liked it the old way. This way it all kind of mooshes together with the other applications. Wendy [e digicons]O:)[/e]

OK, let me tell you what happened. I had to pay for it again, then couldn't download it from the place I was told (Impulse). I couldn't find it. I also downloaded (and likewise bought!) a Colors desktop, Magic Desktop. <span style="font-size: medium; color: #3366ff; font-fa

Hmmmm. I have serial numbers for Ultimate Desktop renewal until May 2009. But I don't have the latest version installed. I'd like to download the standalone Ultimate Desktop and install it, but I'm afraid it'll make me pay for it again. . . . ???? What to do. font="Verdana,Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif"]Well, that's interesting. I think it worked. What I had before was the free version. Maybe that doesn't work or something. At any rate, I tried V.03 and deleted the file you mentioned before. Then I reloaded the bootskin, and so far it's working. But say, what and where is version 5? Keeping my fingers crossed, Wendy

I'm OK now.Window Blinds has advanced significantly in that time. The look is eye-popping! One comment I must make. Boot Screens have gotten me in huge trouble and I had to uninstall the program. A computer I had two years ago choked on a bootscreen and simply refused to be recovered. When I reinstalled bootscreens last week, well, once again

Alas, WB5 Beta locked me out of my bank's Web site! Oh no. It appears it doesn't 'obey' the per-App instruction I gave it not to skin IE6. When I called the bank they said the error msg I was getting involved having too many windows up -- which I didn't (only one). Then I thought, maybe it thinks WindowBlinds is another window (which it is sort of, I guess). Even closing WB didn't help. I uninstalled it and things came around right. Back to

Beldroan, thanks! I found this fix after trying twice and failing to install WB5 the latest Beta. As elaborate as it was it worked like a charm. Can't believe people actually have spare time to figure these things out. Oh wait. Maybe this is your job. But anyway, thanks! I don't usually figure out what to do so fast.<IMG src="http://images.stardock.com/sd_com/smiles/Congrats.gif" align=absMiddle border

Hi, I've been using WindowBlinds for two years (as part of Object Desktop) (the paid version). Lots of fun, occasionally quirky and sometimes doesn't behave itself (which seems to be the general experience from browsing this forum). Yesterday I downloaded and installed the latest version (4.6). It's really cool, but . . . with a skin applied (or a theme, for that matter), it crashes my Gmail!! Has anyone else experienced this? I have Windows XP
