I seem to have no luck at all with bootskins. I just got a blue screen of death, followed by an "offer" to start in safe mode. I disabled the bootskin and it started fine. But dammit, I just hate that black MS bootscreen, and I really would like something better. Thanks, Wendy

Alas, WB5 Beta locked me out of my bank's Web site! Oh no. It appears it doesn't 'obey' the per-App instruction I gave it not to skin IE6. When I called the bank they said the error msg I was getting involved having too many windows up -- which I didn't (only one). Then I thought, maybe it thinks WindowBlinds is another window (which it is sort of, I guess). Even closing WB didn't help. I uninstalled it and things came around right. Back to

Hi, I've been using WindowBlinds for two years (as part of Object Desktop) (the paid version). Lots of fun, occasionally quirky and sometimes doesn't behave itself (which seems to be the general experience from browsing this forum). Yesterday I downloaded and installed the latest version (4.6). It's really cool, but . . . with a skin applied (or a theme, for that matter), it crashes my Gmail!! Has anyone else experienced this? I have Windows XP
