Around the office we'll be checking for the game on local store shelves (much of the box-art contains work from 'yours-truly', so I'm exceptionally excited to see the final copy). EBGames said the 11th as well (in South East Michigan), so hopefully we'll be seeing it today!

Haha yeah, that was snuffed out a few builds back...though it did make for some enjoyably crazy games.
Hey dtskp, Sorry this is happening on all your computers. Here's my suggestion until the programmers can figure out a better solution. 1-In the "PolMachine\Data" folder there's a "Prefs.ini" file. Open that up. 2-Search for a value named "SkipIntro" that is probably set to '0' on your game. Set that to '1'. 3-This will skip the animated intro to the game. If the game still crashes, please use the above link to repor
Thanks for finding that bug! To help others, we'll be fixing that problem on our end today.
As a side note: this was actually an overlook on our part when uploading the files to the sdcentral server. After today, subsequent downloads of the D2:UE core will include the tutorial.
After downloading "Disciples 2" using Stardock Central, you will be able to download the additional modules listed under it (Movies, Music, ect.) One of those is named "Multiplayer Scenerios", just double click on that, and once its downloaded, pop into the game for some tutorial excitement!
We'll have to talk with the boys over at Strategy First for permission to headline it on TG.Net, but hopefully they'll be open to the idea
Sorry guys, looks like ORB and Celtic Kings came without electronic versions of the manual. We're working to quickly get something out that players can use.
Manual: A PDF version of the manual didn't come with the game, but we're going to try and get something out for players ASAP. Expansion: If you're taking about "Celtic Kings: The Punic Wars", that's actually the sequel and will be more difficult to get onto the network. If there's enough demand for more Celtic Kings we can definatly give it a shot. <img src="http://images.stardockcentral.net/images/smiles/joke.gif" border=0 ALIGN="absmiddle"
We're working with several publishers to get additional titles onto TG.Net, but for the next few months, strategy games are going to take center stage.
Could you post your specs? Also, are you running out of SDCentral, or out of the start folder? If you're attempting to play in windowed mode, note that the system has to be in 16bit color mode.
http://www.gamerankings.com/htmlpages2/919823.asp?q=catwoman Guess our good luck had to end sometime But I guess it's only fitting, given the painfully negative pre-buzz the movie's garnering. Defiantly psyched to pick up "Chronicles of Riddick" and "Spiderman 2"...though I hear the latter tends to get repetitive <img src="http://images.stardockc
Basegolf really seems to be a "Love It"/"Hate It" type game. I've seen about 5 posts raving about the game since it's been available for DL on TG.Net, then others have found it lacking. I for one have been hooked, and regularly find myself taking lunch at my desk just to get in a few rounds at bat. As for the control problem, I suggest (if it's possible) disabling the CH Pro while playing the game, since it's really more of a keyboard type v
OK, this should be fixed by the end of the day. Thanks for the suggestion!
My speeds tend to fluxuate. Peak gaming hours it crawls, then I try just now and im getting around 200Kb pre/second. I suppose it depends on how many people are accessing stuff at the time
This is a reasonable request...what other info should be readilly available? Multiplayer Availability? Minimum System Requirements? If you look at the description for Political Machine, we're already displaying the Sys. Requirements. Would that sort of simple layout be good enough?
Hey Fellow Stardockians! For all those in the games division, we had a small meeting yesterday to outline where we'll be heading over the next few months. He're the run-down. TotalGaming.Net -Official Release: July 20th (next Tuesday) -New Game's that'll be released with it: Disciples2 Ultimate, ORB, and Celtic Kings -We'll be releasing g
https://www.politicalmachine.com/game.asp This is a pretty thurough breakdown of how the game works. Hope it helps!
http://www.ubi.com/US/Games/politicalmachine_pc.htm Ubisoft is currently in the process of Manufacturing the Political Machine for store distribution. It's still slated for a mid-August release, but at this point it's out of our hands. You can, however, still access the final beta build if you've pre-ordered the game.
Hey guys! Just wanted to let you know about a local joint that has some weekly Life Drawing goodness to partake in. http://www.scarabclub.com/events.html The Scarab Club is right down the street from CCS, and right across from the DIA. Every Thursday night they have quick sketch sessions for the fist half of the night, then 30 minute poses
Hey Fellow Stardock Employees! In an effort to stimulate learning and personal growth amongst the art department here at Stardock, I'd liek for us all to use this site as a 'gathering place' for our artistic needs. Find a fund website with inspirational stuff? LINK IT! Doodle up some concept and want feedback? POST IT! Have a
No, that should work. Is Wesley Clark now a valid player to choose from on the 'Select Candidate' screen?
What difficulty level are you guys playing at?
The "Top State Issues" section of the "State Details" screen displays feelings towards an issue by Democrats, Independents, and Republicians, as well as the position held by you and your opponent. 2 Thumbs Up - Strongly Support Thumb Up - Support Closed Fist - Indifferent Thumb Down - Oppose 2 Thumbs Down - Strongly Oppose At the very least, you want to hold a similar position on the issue as voters in your party. Then
Sounds like you're running 'Campaign Mode'. What this game mode does is set you up against a ladder of candidates (Democratic or Republican) for your candidate of choice to run against. When you see that all the republicans are up against 'Wesley Clark', it simply meens taht they're at the beginning (bottom) of their campaign ladder. As you defeat candidates in Campaign Mode, new candidates open up, eventually reaching the more powerful 'Historical'
