I'm jealous of what you can do with yarn. They look so freaking cool. I can teach you, y'know. It's not that difficult. mmmmm...it looks soft. It is!

Hell yes. Especially if it was cheap . . . Aww, c'mon now! I wouldn't do that to you. You're worth more to me than that....you're up on the cashmere and silk level. Nothing but the best for my San Chon. <TABLE cellpadding=8 width="95%" align=center bg
I get alot of this type of talk...others, You and Dharma I notice like to say this alot. Um, HELLO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Don't you think that it you hear it a lot it may just be because it's TRUE???!!!! That you really DO it? That you beat people up with your faith a lot? That you put yourself up on a pedestal and look down your nose at those of us who don't think the way you do? You DO do it. I've been saying it ever since you first came to JU,
Amanda said he can only build up so much before he starts to lose it. It's called 'use or lose' status, and it happens if you have 60 days or more of leave at the end of the fiscal year (October). AF Personnel get 30 days of paid leave per year. I can't say anything nice about your article, so I'm going to shut up now.
My kids are older, so the labor has been divided into 4 (Dave can't be relied on to do anything these days). They're able to clean their own rooms and bathroom PROPERLY, and they're all capable of loading and unloading the dishwasher. The laundry pile has got markedly bigger though - and I'm not about to let them near my high(er) tech washer and dryer, so I have to do that on my own!
I hardly ever feel like being nice around KFC. She's an insufferable, pompous know-it-all and she gets on my last fucking nerve. If she's such a fantastic mother, how come her son didn't tell her he got his girlfriend (and she was just a gf at that time, she wasn't his finacee yet) knocked up? I'm not the best parent in the world, but at least my kids can come to me when they're in trouble or have a problem (Davey even came to me when he had cut himself, and I
I did it. I got up the courage to look inside. Here's what I saw (and here's my response to the items) Wow. The first one looks like a turtleneck sweater that first shrank in the wash, and then someone took a pair of scissors to it. It's impractical. Serves no function. I wouldn't waste my time knitting it. The second....well, I'm still trying to de
Apparently they think you'll buy the mag anyway Not me. Not after seeing what's inside of it (see the response after San Chon's). I'd wear one, as long as it's baby diarrhea brown instead of baby diarrhea g
I always thought that the cover shot of a magazine should make a potential buyer want to snatch it up off the shelf; that it should be of the VERY BEST item that magazine has to offer. It should be titillating, exciting, enticeing, even. So why, then, does the current issue of Knit1 magazine look like this: What in the name of all that is holy is THAT?????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It looks
You're going to be fine, Elie. You'll come through this will flying colors and will be on the road to recovery before you know it. I'll be praying for you and Colleen both (and yes, I'll say a prayer for Sabrina and Adrian too). Let me know if there's anything I can do for you; I'd love to be able to help. Namaste, my friend.
I've been doing a fair bit of knitting recently. I know that it's only Spetember, but I'm knitting socks (6 pairs, eeek!!) for my family in the U.K. and have to have them all finished and mailed by Thanksgiving or they won't get there in time. The first pair I started are for mum. I used a pattern from knitty.com called 'Monkey' ( Link ) and yarn from Knit Picks (75% Merino woll, 25% nylon -
My son turns thirteen tomorrow. Thirteen. He's a teenager now. That blows my mind. He's gone from being a fuzzy-headed little baby to a toothless, tow-headed kid (toothless because he tried to ride his little brother's ride-on ambulance down the steps, knocking his front teeth out) who had an angelic little grin and who wanted blue hair so badly he agreed to take a shower ever
It has been interesting to see what all my grandmother kept tucked away somewhere Mum has TONS of bits and bobs around the house and in the attic....things that my brothers and I made in art class at school, letters and cards that we've sent, things from her dad's house....all kinds of this and that and the other. My sister-in-law keeps

How the fuck did I miss this, 'miah? I can't believe I didn't see it. I'm formulating an opinion (the UFC fights are on right now or I'd stay here and give it to you - my opinion, that is )and I'll be back either later or I'll email it to you. It's been too long, 'miah. You know what I mean.
My dad always wore a hat. Always. Winter or summer, rain or shine, when he went out he had a hat on his head. Every single time. SInce he died last year, mum has steadily given away his things, either to us kids or to charity shops. There are, however, a few things that she's hung onto; that she simply wasn't ready to get rid of just yet. One day last week she and I were chatting about things in general, and she mentioned that she was going to have to g
While it's good for you to let sleeping dogs lie, you may want to keep your ear to the ground. It might be good to help someone else if they get pushed aside by her as well. I'll keep an ear open for any complaints. I don't go over there very often, but I do know people who work there (another physician -he's a pediatrician and wasn't all
My son was born on September 11th, 1994. I was at work on 9/11, 2001. My neighbor across the street rescued my kids from the school bus and kept them there until I made it through the 2 hour long wait to come through the gate onto base (that's what ThreatCon Delta will do for ya - this was back before they changed it to Force Protection Level). Luckily my car had great A/C and the ice-cream cake I'd got from DQ for Davey's birthday wasn't melted. Anyway, I pick
It's nice to see you so happy! It's a welcome break from my usual doom and gloom, that's for sure! Better to work with someone you know, for sure! Oh, heck yeah! She didn't
You should send this to he children - to be read at her funeral. She wouldn't have liked that, y'know....and as at least one of her kids are carrying on her prickly heritage, I doubt that they'd appreciate my sentiments. However, thank YOU for the compliment. <TABLE cellpadding=8 width="95%" align=center bgColor=#FFF394 class="
What an idiot. It didn't escape my attention that the family are soliciting for donations to pay for the kids' funerals because they can't afford it themselves. I imagine that the woman's hospital bill is already in the hundreds of thousands dollar range - and who is going to pay that? If the family can't bury their kids, they sure as hell aren't going to be able to pay for that kind of medical treatment. And all to save a few minutes, a few seconds. What a
I grew up in a little village in rural Oxfordshire, about 15 miles from the city. It was a small enough village that everyone knew each other; each person had a role to play and each child was literally raised by the whole village. We had an attorney living down the street, an accountant next door to him, a retired district nurse (who happened to be my mum's best friend and who played a large part in my childhood), a farmer, a policeman, a baker and a butcher - but no candlestick
Glad to hear things are going well, Karen...bout time, eh? Too fucking right. It IS about time.....which, again, makes me think that this is what I'm supposed to be doing. I'm so happy, Sabrina. Truly happy to be doing this. I knew all those good vibes would help. Congrats, Karen! Best of luck. Thank you!
I'm sorry for her loss too. I'm also VERY sorry for the media circus the incident has turned into, the gaping crowds of strangers who 'care', and the utter loss of her privacy in this, her darkest hour. I can understand why you'd feel that way. Rhys has become public property, and I cannot imagine how that must make his parents fe
My arms are aching from the HepB and tetanus shots I got this morning, and when I came home I found Grace had chewed Dave's new ball cap, the checkbook and a ball of my yarn. But I'm still smiling. I'm still happy. Wanna know why? SHE SAID YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My doc said there wasn't any reason for me to NOT go into nursing and signed off on my physical exam. As long as my background check comes back clear, I'll be graduating in December.
