Well I don't know about the rapin', unless it's consensual of course, but I can guarantee a rousin' amount of pillagin'. but MJ, that is a classic joke and I must say I enjoyed it immensely.
Suspeckted
Well now I know better than to trust my curiousities.
Well even though Simon and Garfunkle are the current epitomy of sellouts I do enjoy that song...and the Graduate as well.
I am disappointed that I never grasped a second language. I can speak enough german, spanish, and sign language to tell people my name and ask where the bathroom is but that's about it. I took my first spanish class in college and good god, it's really hard to learn a language at that age. I suppose it is frustrating to see your language falling from you. Language is such a key component of culture. I don't need to have mastered a second language to appreciate that.
Hey BakerStreet, you sound pretty knowledgeable in the pirate realm, I'd love to have you join the crew. But BakerStreet doesn't exactly strike fear in the hearts of our enemies, who at this time, remain unknown...perhaps we should keep it that way. Dan and Nicky - nice names and jokes. This idea gets better and better everyday. Ya know here in MN we have 10,000+ lakes and I have a canoe. Perhaps we can just terrorize the rich bastards in their ocean worthy yahts around here. <BR
Yeah, unfortunately my horizontal mambo has not been seen by anyone in a long time. I wonder if I even remember how to do it...I should enroll in some remedial classes...but then again, isn't that what dating is?
I think getting bogged down in rules is going to lead to a lot of playing games. Cause games are generally the kind of thing that require rules. Some general guidelines perhaps...but I think you should focus on you first and worry about the rules later. Perhaps a better first rule in a developing relationship would be to discuss what you feel the rules are with this person, but it's not like you both have to follow the same set if you have different comfort levels.
I've found that sometimes it's best just to say no just to remind yourself that you can. It's kind of like a personal power trip. Staying home from that party you're not to keyed in on and watching a flick or whatever the case may be. It's all about balance, you gotta make sure that the sacrifices you're making of yourself to other people are intertwined with doing something for yourself. Even giving of yourself can be "for you" in many circumstances. But if you're not getting that vibe the
So in an earlier discussion I was talking about international travel and hoopa had the brilliant idea to instead simply travel to international waters and become pirates. So I thought I'd begin by assembling a crew. So if you'd like to join my pirate voyage please respond with your desired pirate name and if possible a pirate joke. Original post: yo instead of moving to another country. Why not visit the profound untapped potential of inter
That's the best idea I've heard in a long time. Apparently there are no laws there so we can finally have monkey knife fights and such. So now I need a boat.
well what about mine dharmagrl...no props for me eh? I see how it is.
Man I've only had to work 4 days this week and it seems like it's been dragging a bit. I suppose I can't complain too much about how the week started. Nice warm temperatures and days that I was in charge of a large number of kids no one got severely hurt or lost when their parents showed up, and a significant amount of my hours were spent sledding or building jumps with kids....but man, seriously I'm spent. Luckily I have a fridge full of beer from
I've got the perfect girl for ya, we didn't work out cause I'm not much of a dancer. I only shake it in the privacy of the bedroom or shower.
get ahead, get behind, or just get lost, from the top to the bottom I've been measuring the cost, I've tossed the dog a bone and I leave the kitty alone, at least until she purrs and at that time I disperse, the verse, with each stanza and chorus, the ladies and girls will adore us, it floors us to see them winkin' this way, with each lip and sway of the hips that has a tendency to say...look at me, touch me and tease, say thank you and please, then get on your knees, you gets none of these, unl
I remember at the Vagina Monlogues where they were trying to "take back the word cunt." I'm neither a woman, nor opposed to the word, but I wonder how many women would refer to their own anatomy in such a fashion.
Friday morning wake up in the snowglobe and shake it up, trip over the phone cord, find my keys, caffeine in my cup... stop short head back, stretch it out, neck crack, then back down to my toes and back. Locate myself, toothpaste on the shelf, look at the stranger in the mirror, give him a wink, spit in the sink, and now the familiar guy appears. Check the to-do, see this
Age of respondents? Okay, as some who have read my blog know I work in an elementary school and I could find this chart totally believable if it were done in a grade school or junior high. But otherwise as an anal sociologist I have a million questions about this survey. Number of people polled, age range, time span, actual questions posed, etc. Cause as poetphilosopher pointed out, I guess I do believe in witches in the context that there are people who practice wicca or witchcraft...but do
I don't even wish everyone would go out of their way to be nice, I just wish a lot of people would just stop being oblivious to how inconsiderate they are...myself included.
Boobs sounds to kidlike, but maybe that's the problem. Seems a lot of women aren't attracted to the actual words for their anatomy. Is this because they're uncomfortable with the topic itself or what gives?
Well we do have a mac in the mainroom, but the computer lab has the nice Dell CPUs. It is nice that at this age the kids don't yet know more than me about computers...but it's all just a matter of time.
Don't ever let me claim that I'm not challenged enough in my job. I've spent the last 15 minutes trying to explain to a 4 year old that the mouse on the computer he's using has two buttons and he shouldn't be pressing the right button. However I think I have failed as he is tugging on my sleave right now demanding I return his browser to neopets.com immediately. Hmm....maybe if no one wets their pants today I'll be claiming succcess.
Okay so I think I'm finally over my liberal guilt of driving a big gas guzzling 1989 car. To be specific the 1989 Lincoln that my parents were kind of enough to shell out $1300 for and I spent $2000 fixing. So this rear wheel drive car is not the best winter mobile ever being that it fish tails around corners with small patches of sand on them in the summer. But seriously I'm on the highway at 6am this morning to be behind three cars driving 35 mile
My boss hates the following words, "ointment," "moist," and "extrude." What's with these women?
Well yeah it's supposed to be a convenience, but that's kind of the point. It kind of takes advantage of those who are unable to travel for their education. So they're forced to take these mediocre classes at the same cost as if they were actually given real life instruction. I'm not saying that online classes can't be a great thing for those who are short on time and such, but I am saying that it really can't take an awful lot of effort to be in charge of an online class. I mean any less en
So I'm here waiting for my online class to start. Thankfully this is the last night of class so I won't have to stay here at my job since I have no net access at home as of yet. But seriously how much of a scam is this. I'm required to do a certain number of in-service hours for my job so one of my options is to take this online class. The "professor" conducts a chat session for 45 min. on 4 separate occassions, sends out a few emails, checks our f
